When you say all 8, I'm assuming you are including the upcoming "The Last JedI" I never knew that scene was in EP1. Wasn't there a scene in one of the Indiana Jones movies that had C3PO and R2D2 in it? Was this kind of a "scratch my back" thing? Regardless, I see these Easter egg things in many movies, but it all depends on how it detracts from the real story and setting. To be honest, I don't think it detracts too much, so long as it's not too weird or out of place. The E.T. does border on being out of place.

That red lettering had me thinking it was Makers Mark. I'm going with clock hands for this week's guess.

The anger the racist freaks displayed was very evident of their overall message and intention. Night of the Comet.... I don't think I ever saw that movie. Sounds like I need to go out and find it.

Great song choice. I have great memories of hearing Plaster Caster on the FM rock radio when it first came out. For me, that's a hard one to pick a top favorite. I can tell you that I regularly have the song "Cold Gin" in my head and it's one that I've liked since it was first released on their debut album.

I remember those LEGO parts. The precursor to the fidget spinner. I ended up with a fidget spinner from one of the vendors I work with (it's branded with the Hitachi name). My goal is to see if the cats will play with it.

You know that I have mad admiration for your daily blogging. It's something that those of us that have sporadic blogging habits look up to.

That's a great eclipse capture. I like Nathan's costume, even though I haven't seen DM3 yet (but know that Trey Parker does the voice for that character). I like your work MacBook Pro. The "mom said" "dad said" playing means Nathan has reached that age of knowing how to get things.

That is very cool. Sucks Spotify had to go and mess with a great system for playing music.

I love it. And it brings back memories of my first bike. If I find a photo of it, I will post it on a Throwback Thursday.

As did I. And I was just in 3 Europe countries (I looked at the 2 Euro I brought back and it's different the one posted here) This week's guess: one of those gold-colored castles you put in a fish tank.

The last day of a long term job. All the best for the new job. Don't let the term "newbie" get to you. It wears thin after a while.

When "Hybrid Theory" came out, I played it a ton. Then once "Meteoria" came out, I liked it but my interested waned and I never really got back into them.

A re-release would be awesome. The first movie came out in 1968, but the first one I remember going to see was the 3rd movie in 1971. In 1974, they had a marathon of all 5 of the first movies that myself and several friends when to go see. And of course, there's that line towards the end of Spaceballs - "Spaceballs... oh shit, there goes the planet."

I admit I was not a big LP fan. I liked their music, but it wasn't something I listened to all that often. Given that, from that list of the 12 songs, "Crawling" and "In The End" were early favorites from their debut album. In fact, "In The End" was the song on repeat in my head after I heard the news about Chester. "Burn It Down" was the last LP song I remember really liking a lot. I'm drafting up my own blog post on Chester's passing, but for me, it was his few years as lead singer of Stone Temple Pilots where I really liked his work. That one EP they released was on repeat for a good 4 months when it first came out. Plus, I saw him live with STP and he was an incredible frontman. His death has left a void in the world of music.
