Happy blogiversary to you. And so many great things happened along the way in your life, including Nathan and his inclusion into your regular blog posts. I applaud you for 10 years (and longer) and look forward to getting caught up with your blog. And use inspiration to make better attempts at regular blogging over on BL and ABV (as a start)

Congrats to the Blackhawks. And to Dave2 for his graphic creation.

I didn't watch, but I refreshed my sport news feed on Yahoo to see the result last Sat night. 37 years is a great dry spell to break.

I really like the new design. And reading this from the kapgar.com site.

Yes, that's pretty lame they couldn't just give you a day pass. I expect more from a Hilton property.

Oh sweet. That means I'm not that out of touch with new changes.

I have downloaded this app and installed it, but haven't used it yet. The one I've been using is Evernote Scannable. Similar in the basic functionality and crop options. Plus it supports the iPad. Not sure if Lens is compatible with iPad.

Yay for the return. As an also ran, when did you change your blog theme? I really like it. Very clean, easy to navigate and still colorful.

First off, agree with you on that Tears For Fears song. Love it. Brings back so many memories (which I think I blogged about some time ago, album specific). As for the lacking, you've seen my blog the last couple of months. I still get ideas for posts and have ambitions of getting caught up with the podcast episodes. There's a post that explains some of my lacking. So for me, I don't judge at all. I just understand.

Shocking that they have free wifi in the lobby but no where else in the hotel? From the reply of the front desk person, it sounds like they are holding it hostage to extract more money from visitors, regardless of how they got there. For a Hilton property, they need to be more consistent. Like Hampton and Garden Inn locations all have free wifi, even for visitors that aren't staying in a room.

Yeah, I have removed a few after watching an episode or two. Most are suggestions from others. Like my friend Kris and I go for drinks and he's "Have you seen [insert show name]?" and I'm "nope, but let me add it to my list." Also, read Dave2's blog and you get an even larger list of shows to add. So some culling takes place, but with Netflix, HBO, Amazon Prime and broadcast channels, there's a ton of them that look interesting.

Click through, click bait, pop up pages that prevent me from reading the page without trying to find that small little X that's so greyed out that even my reading glasses don't help me easily find it. For blogs, it's nice to read the post to see if it's something I want to comment on. If I do, then I click through. But I'd like to be my choice not the content provider/site. Defeats the whole purpose of an RSS feed.

I admit to being curious about the remake, but the original was pretty damn good.

I've seen the ABC promo ads, but have never watched this show. I'm so far behind on most shows I normally watch. I have a Reminders list I keep and it grows more than the completed side of things.

That is madness. I admit to questioning the cost of digital. While I understand that certain hours of effort and talent go into creating the comic, it's pretty easy to want to compare digital vs. print and deduct the cost of distribution of digital (storage, bandwidth) vs. the cost of printing (printing, shipping, storage) This takes me back to my printed comics that I used to purchase as a kid for 20 cents to $1, wondering what I got for that extra 80 cents.

I do that same thing with food. I always forget to check what we have. We go to the store, buy the thing I think we need, get home and find that we already had that item.

That is pretty cool they offered to send a new one. I've had several people that have called their support and they have been met with mostly positive results. One friend lost his and he called and was honest about how he lost it (in a park after it fell off his waistband) and they sent him a replacement at no charge. He suggested I do the same last July when I lost mine in Las Vegas, but I decided against it and just bought a new one 5 months later (i used my iPhone 5s during that time).

I'm sad to say that I didn't make to a record store this year. And I have one just a mile away from my house. I do plan to go here soon as I have a few CDs that I want to check out.

Congrats on the weight loss. I think it's related to a lot of the steps you take, since your goal is more than the default. Consuming regular quantities of any booze will add weight. And maybe not weight so much as added noticeability to those that see you on a regular basis. FWIW, I'm not willing to reduce my booze consumption.

I missed it this year since I was in Cabo. I doubt they had any comic book stores there, let alone if there were, any that participated in FCBD. Next year for sure. Curious what issues you found and ended up with.

Damn... that's brutal. I had this happen, not to me, but to my wife's brother in law when he got a new phone on our AT&T plan. And we had 10gb shared at the time (now have 30gb, which gives a lot more breathing room, mostly for me). Turns out he never connected his phone to their home wifi. He was downloading his music and all sorts of stuff. Got 6gb into the 10gb for the month in the first 4 days of the billing cycle. I was watching the data like a hawk the rest of the month.

No to any geddon, gate or ghazi. Just over them all and they have no place anymore. Now palooza... that's not so bad since it makes me think of music and concerts.
