Finding out that Prince had died a week ago Thursday was a shock. I was a pretty big fan and this was a loss for me on many levels. I expected him to live into his 80's. Alas, it was not to be. We've lost way too many musicians this year and we are barely 4 months into 2016.

I never had Alive III, but had Alive! and Alive II. But I'm going to completely agree with you on your view of the Unplugged album. I really like that one a lot. Peter Criss gives a great performance of "Beth" and it was nice to also have all 4 original members on stage for a couple of songs.

Gary's point about them not selling for 99 cents, but then going higher when they got relisted makes sense, if they wanted to sell them for more. Still seems a bit on the odd side that if no one bought them at 99 cents, there's a chance no one will buy them for $8.99. Unless they came across as undervalued.

Last week's guess.... I totally am kicking myself as I have a pair that I use for podcasting. Should have looked at them closer. Taking that hint a bit farther today, I look on my desk and see something similar above... a binder clip

I do this about once a month, checking for accounts that don't follow me that once did, but no longer tweet anything I'm interested in. For friends, I rarely unfollow. They pretty much have to just post a bunch of hate-laced messages a lot before I unfollow them. For Twitter, I normally mute someone that I'm not interested in seeing their tweets, but still want to follow and check their feed every month or so to see if it was a temp insanity or perm insanity. Facebook is am entirely different animal altogether, but using some of the same above criteria I use with Twitter. I unfollow (stop their posts from appearing on my FB feed) a lot, mostly due to who they are (someone I grew up with and have nothing in common except I know them in person) and what they post (mostly religious or political propaganda)

As I mentioned on Instagram, even though the drinks I get at Starbucks cost more, I spent at least half of that $150 in the last 12 months to maintain Gold. I credit that to bonus stars. I think it's very nice of Starbucks to offer a quick and cheap way to maintain Gold for another year. I drink Keurig at home (no K-Cups, we have the use your own ground coffee adapters and filters) and at work. And every once in a while I use other local coffee shops.

I studied it a bit harder and I'd like to take a better guess. An ice cube (in an adult beverage).

I see this all too often. And Snapchat made it worse, even though it will reorientate the screen for the video when you turn it. But since it keeps it video contained in it's app (for the most part, although you can save it out to your camera roll), it's not as horrible as seeing the black bars and portrait orientated videos uploaded to YouTube and other video services. This guide should be shared with everyone that uses a phone to take video.

Kids don't deal with sickness very well. And not that they should. It really sucks for them to be all not themselves. Hope everyone is getting better.

Oh this week is difficult. If that back wasn't there, I would say it looks like an older key hole. My guess is a music box.

I did not forget, that's for sure. I ended up having to wait a day to purchase the Blu-rey digital copy pack but was very happy to have this movie that I can now watch at home anytime I want to. And for it to be on iTunes digital, I don't have to be near a Blu-ray player to watch it.

Awesome to hear you still have all of those older tech items. Especially the Powerbook G3. As for me, I still have my Palm IIIx and one of my first digital cameras - an Epson PhotoPC 800 (which I just found today, hoping there will still pictures on any of the Compact Flash cards - there's were not)

The fanny pack. I used to wear one well into my 20's. I'm sure I have a TBT photo to share.

Way cool that in my lack of posting regular things, I helped inspire something. I see current pics of Nathan and he's grown so much.

Kids and name pronunciations. I have a friend from Boston who calls me MAH-dee (Marty in a Bostonian accent) and your mention of it reminded me of how that sounds.

In all of my days of playing pirate with digital content, I never once downloaded a pirated movie from any internet site. Mostly out of respect for those who make movies, but also due to the shitty quality that I have seen others that do download get. To be honest, this isn't even tempting knowing it's a Blu-ray rip of the movie. One, that's a huge download (I think it's 10gb if I remember reading the story about it) and two, I cannot feasibly watch or stream this on anything I own without it clogging up my local network.
