The power adapter shown above, is what I use for my 2015 MacBook. It's all USB-C. Cable sold separately. I've tried using a 3rd party one by Anker, which does work, but it's kinda of quirky in how it charges (starts and stops until it reaches 30% then it keeps charging, even past the point where it hits 100%). Frustrating when you need that second charger for traveling.

I'm still bummed that I didn't get this one. But I did on the the most recent.

I'm with you... either Emily Blunt (who my wife has a crush on, actress wise) or Idris Elba. As with KevinAZ, Roger Moore was my Bond. "A View To A Kill" is still one of my all time favorites for a Bond movie.

You make a good point. My first 2 cars, I paid less than $500 for each one (a 1974 Toyota wagon was $250 and a 1973 Honda Civic was $400) and while they had their level of issues and left me stranded a few times when they broke down, they were not too hard to fix. My current car, a 2012 Nissan Sentra was just shy of $20k and there were various issues with it during the first 5 years (which were all covered under warranty). But your point stands... it's a new car. There shouldn't be issues for something I spent 20 grand on.

I remember that Neneh Cherry album. It turns 30 years old next year.

I saw Avengers Infinity War this past Monday and really liked it. Echoing KevinAZ's very very good is very accurate. I get the scared. I still have the first 2 Iron Man movies at the top of my Marvel list. And I liked most of the other movies (Thor: Ragnorak had some parts that were over the top, IMO). If you can avoid spoilers before it comes out on video, that would be a rare challenge.

From the Flickr blog post: Will Flickr continue to have free accounts? Yes. When Flickr joins SmugMug on May 25th, we will continue to offer free Flickr accounts. https://blog.flickr.net/en/2018/04/20/together-smugmug-flickr-faq/ My curious question is Pro accounts and if they are good until their renewal comes up again. I've had one for several years now and it just renewed at $24.95 in March. I see their Pro subscriptions are $45.95, which is almost double. I might have to rethink renewing, especially since I don't use the service as often.

Stumped us all on the pepper mill. This week's looks like something hydraulic like the bottom of an office chair.

Well, sometimes you have to test the waters to see how well some of these products work. If you ask Dave2, Apple's HomeKit is garbage. I've been looking at the Philips HUE system, which you can control from Echo or Google Home. Once I get comfortable, I will be blogging about my efforts on adding it to our home.

That is an awesome renovation of his bedroom. I like the lights as well as the framed comic books. And that street sign is great.

So cool you and Nathan got pics with Geoffrey. I'm sad about the closing of this final retail toy store (I guess Hammond's is still in some places).

Nice ending. And from the sounds of it, no knives or guns were needed, but it was a close one. ;-) My wife now has the Charge HR. Her older Charge, which I was using as a pocket Fitbit (the band came off), stopped holding a charge. I'm now using the One. If I wasn't already using an Apple Watch, I'd opt for the Charge 2. And the Kohl's discount.

I found you through Blogography sometime in 2007 when I started commenting at chillywilly, before Banal Leakage made it's debut. 20 years is a great milestone to celebrate. It always brings a smile to my face when I read "I don’t see it ending anytime soon."

Emma is an amazing human being and one who has earned my complete and total respect. Her writing is incredible and she has been spot on in going after the policies and establishments that took 17 of her classmates lives. Anyone who comes out against her is just a fear-mongering fool that is afraid to admit that these students are on the right track.

This was the first year in many where I guessed all 6 of the main categories. My wife and I made it a point to see as many of the 9 best picture nominees before March 4th Oscar broadcast night. We saw 8 (missed seeing Phantom Thread). As for Oscar host, Jimmy Kimmel was great (we liked him from last year as well). Who wouldn't have loved being in that theater across the street and having Mark Hamill handing you a package of Sour Patch Kids?

The one artist I was totally wanting to see was last year (LCD Soundsystem), but I wasn't able to travel to your neck of the woods for that. With Japandroids, I figured that Sunday was a lock for you. For me, I'm with Eric on Tame Impala, even though I really like Japandroids a lot, too (they have yet to come back to Salt Lake)

Most CVS and Walgreens still provide a film processing service (not sure of the cost per roll). For mailorder and scan to CD, The Darkroom is one that I've heard of before. https://thedarkroom.com/product/35mm-film-developing/
