I like the reading goal of 32 books. I set mine at 24 because I've been so bad about it for years that I'd like to have a TINTFA that is reasonable for me to reach. But I've already read 2 for January and the month is 2/3 over. So I might actually be closer to your number by the end of 2015. 12k steps a day. Nice to step it up (see what I did there).

I'm going with Marvel solely based on Iron Man and Guardians of the Galaxy. My comic book conflict is Aquaman. Just had to say that right there.

Hmmm... this was one artist that I passed on seeing at Austin City Limits. And her New Year's Eve performance wasn't very enticing to me. I do, however, like that Charli XCX. I might actually give this a listen, just to see what it's all about. The one my wife likes is Meghan Trainor. And I was quite impressed with her New Year's Eve performance. So no hate for Iggy from me. Just not all that into what I've heard so far.

My years of losing sleep were so long ago, but I remember the sleepless nights with my daughter when i was a stay at home dad (I ran my own company for a spell). 3-4 years old was something of a challenge. Now, it's my own insomnia that keeps me sleepless a few nights a week.

Bravo. This was so well written. I can't fathom the ability of anyone that is that much out of wack or out of reality to take other's lives in the name of a belief or religion. I have to applaud the French for tracking all but one involved so quickly. While hostage lives were lost in the process, this swift justice is at least some small amount of positive that those that committed these acts are no more.

Different but very well written and a great perspective. Next time I'm at Costco, I'm going to wonder what is going on in the sample station people's thought processes.

Nice send off to Sizzle Says. While I haven't read her blog in a long time, I do remember her being one of the main ones that graced my feed reader.

Nice ending to Macro Monday. And a I just posted, a great start to Story Sunday. It was cold in Salt Lake last week. I'm in Vegas for a few days this week and it's nice to escape the cold with a bit of 60+ degree weather. Even if the mornings are cold (in the mid 40's, which is cold for the Vegas desert)

Wow. Great start to Story Sunday. I like it. The b&w photo added depth.

Any chance the Cubbies could make history here? I was really hoping we'd have a hoverboard by now. I know there's one that got demo'd by Tony Hawk recently, but nothing in production that any of us could afford.

I remember I posted my 2012 Top Albums list at the end of November because I wanted to be included in all of the big boys list of best albums. It didn't work out how I thought it would. Nice list. We share two titles on our lists. Foo Fighters and Phantogram. St. Vincent was one that fell off my listen list pretty quick. I can't tell you why, other than it just didn't grab me like I expected it to. Maybe I was hoping for more of a Lorde sound. And TV On The Radio is one I need to spend some more listen time with. I'm looking forward to Faith No More.

I need to get more into TV shows. Our cable package sucks and I lost the DirecTV migration battle (my wife says they offer too many channels and she would watch even more TV) so it's mostly what I can stomach past the odd display we live with on our Comcast SD cable box. Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon has to be up there for me as well. I was glad to see Leno finally retire. I wanted Conan to do well and he did over on TBS after he left the Tonight Show hosting seat after 9 months. Big Bang Theory still gets my views. Daily Show with Jon Stewart is still a draw most days for me.

I saw all of those pics on Instagram. Nice to have a story behind them. Nothing like toys put into different situations, a la Toy Story.

My Discover card did the same thing when I went to go purchase something a good year or more ago. Nice to use the bonus, but a bit on the invasive side of things.

Holiday favorites of the media type that I like and look forward to each year are: Song: "Last Christmas" by Jimmy Eat World (it's a great cover of the original song by Wham!) TV show: "Charlie Brown Christmas" Movie: "The Year Without a Santa Claus" Although I have to admit that I really like "Bad Santa" a lot for a very much only an adult version for Christmas themed movies.

I can promise you that I won't be sad when I move from Bluehost for scootersunday.com, based on what you are experiencing. While I've been fine, their prices are pretty pricey compared to other hosts (once you exhaust your promotional pricing)

Banal Leakage has been on 1and1 since I started it and will be moving it finally (they have been stable, but prices have doubled since March 2008). And each blog site I added, I didn't want to add on 1and1. So it was just adding to different hosts based on price and recommendation. 3 of the 4 hosts were free in 2013, so I saved a lot then (various promotions and contests that I won covered all of the hosting costs). DreamHost and Webfaction will be my two hosting companies I use from March on (assuming they keep providing excellent service and reasonable prices)

I already sent you email on this, but I echo Dave2's advice. Sucks that Bluehost wasn't clear with you on what they supported and the costs. BTW, unrelated to your issues with Bluehost, I'm moving Scooter Sunday blog from them at the first of March. Cutting costs and consolidating web hosts companies (all 4 of my blogs are currently hosted on 4 different providers)

Thanks. And if KevinAZ likes my suggestion, that's a +1 to him on top of my suggestion. Stolen moments could work, or even leaving people out of it. What was intriguing enough to snap the photo. The story behind the snap.
