I do like that quote, even from such a mess of a movie. I tend to use to-do list items for even the smallest of things when I remember them. Wunderlist has a quick entry that works for those items. Two taps and I have it written down. Cause I do the same thing as well when there's something I need to do but can't recall.

How awesome for Nathan. I know how much he lives Thomas (from your blogs posts and tweets) so I bet he loved it.

Spot on rant here. I truly feel bad for Anna and those 4 kids. While there is the idea that Anna, as an adult, can leave this douche nozzle, she is caught in a very precarious position here, mostly I'm sure, related to her family. I can't imagine the anguish and frustration that must be going through her head and the random thoughts of "why do I need to endure the blame for something I didn't do?" The question for someone like Josh, is that what other stones are left to be turned over? Should he just laundry list everything else he's hiding now before the next revelation goes public?

I read something above about wine and cake. Glad to hear it all went good. These Nathan posts bring back some memories for me when my daughter was his age. Her first babysitter was a teen in the neighborhood that was very responsible for a 14 year old.

Yes, I have. For me, the "don't click yet" for blog posts has several that have been in draft mode for a while. Either waiting till I get some burst of brilliance that completes the post to my liking or ones that I get ideas on and then make that call on if it's worth posting. I would like to get to the point where I feel like I can post something without wondering if I missed something or I feel like I have to wait.

Not a let down at all. 50k tweets will happen here soon enough. I remember when I hit 50k tweets. It was a nice milestone. And one I don't need to worry about until I hit 100k tweets (I hit 60k about 2 weeks ago).

Awesome for Nathan. I remember when my daughter went through all that. It was a glorious day for her papa, too.

At least we know Jared won't be able to get a pass for his deviant crimes and actions. Josh, on the other hand, will have people rally around him, all the while professing his repentant ways are his main focus. Meanwhile, his wife and kids are left as ignored victims that are expected to follow along with the creepy beliefs Josh's parents have been following for decades.

An empty theater is a perfect environment for a child's first viewing. No other kids to distract him and being able to let him roam about after he lost focus on the movie was perfect. As for the movie, I think you will enjoy it. Lots of fun gags and jokes and Minions galore.

I congratulate you on this fine effort, my friend. You carried the torch on this one. Perhaps it is time I use you as inspiration to make a return to regular blogging.

Watching and helping someone else spend their money and you get enjoyment out of it. I call that a win-win.

I have a few, but for a funny one, I go back to when my daughter was 3 and I was driving a little faster than I should have. When the cop pulled me over, I explained to him that I was late picking up my daughter from day care and that they charge for each minute she is there past 6pm. I explained that I was paying attention to traffic but was wanting to ensure that I didn't have any surprises from my wife if I were late picking up my daughter. He understood, told me to drive slower next time and let me go.

I do. Just not the best experience overall, especially for larger ones. It appears from your view that Pitchfork is still good, which is nice for a festival. I went to Austin City Limits last October (still way behind in my write up/blogging about it) and it was cool to finally attend, but it was just too crowded and the set lists were so short for all but the headlining bands (most got 1 hour or less, headliners were 2 hours for most). With most major tours skipping Utah and with no festivals here, I would have to travel to attend, which adds to the cost and it's just not worth it in the end. I'm open to going to ACL again, but I really have to weigh the options. RiotFest was another I wanted to go to, but I don't know how well the bands I want to see there are represented and how long their set lists are.

Ok, I watched both commercials. The razor one above is the most brazen. The shower one was more coy in it's message.

I tell you, those proximity clauses are the deal breakers for me. I mean, I like the idea of a festival to see a lot of your favorite bands, even if their set lists are a fraction of the time they have to perform, compared to if they did a show at a local club or venue. I've only been to one Lolla. That was in 1992 when it was a traveling show and I made it to one day in Phoenix. It was fun. They came to Utah in 1995 with Alice in Chains performing, but due to a prior commitment, I wasn't able to go. I was bummed as it would have been my only chance to have seen the band with Layne Staley.

I know the Dr Pepper that Samuel talks about above. It's really good and goes back to the days when I was a kid when they still put real sugar in sodas and not this High Fructose Corn Syrup B.S. I had to mostly give up soda years ago, and Dr Pepper was one of my favorites. I used to drink two 32 oz refill mugs a day for a long time until my doctor told me that it was the cause of a kidney stone. So like that, I quit drinking all soda. I do have a Sprite with my Crown Royal every so often, but soda is a rare thing for me. In fact, we can have a 12 pack in the house and it lasts a good 6 months, mostly given to guests when they come over.

I have it on my Netflix list to watch, but still haven't yet. And I've got quite a few other shows to get caught up with before that one makes it to the "watch now" place in the queue.

Sickness can hang on for weeks. I had a cold that still tries to find it's way back to me in the form of a cough and sore throat every 5-7 days. Hope you are feeling better now.

Windows 98? And I thought anything in the retail world that runs XP was behind the mark. I found one system some time ago that ran Windows 2000. That still has 98 beat. As for those stuck at Leopard and/or Tiger, how old are these systems? I had an iMac 17" from 2006 that won't run anything newer than Lion. I've helped a few people recently that were at Snow Leopard level. And I have an older Power Mac G4 that still runs Leopard (which I had to use a program called Leopard Assist to get it to install, otherwise it would run nothing newer than Tiger)
