Nice that Katie is still able to keep her unlimited plan. I have a friend that is still on his grandfathered AT&T unlimited plan. When I was with Sprint, i had unlimited data, which for a while, was nice. Then their service got really bad for the last couple of years I was with them. Pretty much struggled with even maintaining a 3G connection without being forced over to roaming most of the time. And that's using the phone in the city. So when I switched over to AT&T in September 2013, I ended up going to their 10gb plan. We have 4 phones that share that 10gb and I'm the biggest user since I tether from mine at work (we block a ton of traffic and sites and services like Facebook and Dropbox). We regularly hit really close to that 10gb each month, so I took advantage of the double data deal they had and upgraded to the 15gb plan, which gives me 30gb a month. Some breathing room. And being an extra $25 a month for that upgrade, it's worth it not to worry going over.

Nice use of the last line above (from the first Toy Story movie). Run with the inspiration for as long as it lasts. After all, it was not you who caused his first injury.

As I mentioned on Twitter when we had this convo, Ratatouille is my favorite of the Pixar movies. And when I finally watched Cars, it was better than I anticipated it would be. In fact, I recommend visiting Disney California Adventure for Cars Land. It's very well done. Revisiting movies... I've wanted to watch Anchorman again to see if I would like it (I watched it on DVD some years ago and turned it off half way). My daughter did the same thing and she went back and really liked it. I'm hoping when I do, the same result will occur.

My three favorites from this album are (not in this order): Teen Angst, I See The Light and Another Song About The Rain. Cracker is one of my all time favorite bands. Have seen them live a good 6-7 times. The combo live show where they do Cracker and Camper Van Beethoven is pretty cool. David Lowery and Johnny Hickman are pretty cool to chat with as well. They have a new album called "Berkeley to Bakersfield" which comes out Dec 9th.

Oh trust me, it's temping sometimes. One example... this older gentleman was trying to take a picture with his iPhone. He would turn on the phone, swipe, swipe more to find where the camera app was, tap it, take a picture then turn off his phone. No big deal, except he would take a minute to go through the entire process above for each picture he took. I wanted to walk up and nicely show him the turn on phone, swipe up the right side to open the camera directly.

Yes, to some degree. The trucks had deeper voices (as best as I could do for an 8 year old)

Now I need to go back and rewatch the Toy Story movies. I was already thinking of doing that when I read about the Toy Story 4 sequel is a go.

I loved my toys and embraced them on many levels. LEGOs, Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars were ones I cherished. I often painted scenarios where I built cities I lived in and drove around. I had Matchbox and Hot Wheels that never left the house and ones that I carried with me places. And then a set that were allowed to play outside and in the dirt. So I get the whole anthropomorphise idea.

I've always wanted to restore an older car. My brother has restored several older Mustangs over the years and when he and I talk, I always try to get as many details out of him as possible. I neither have the time nor space to host a hobby like this, but I still think it would be fun. As to the type of vehicle, a VW Notchback always comes to mind. Here's a link to what it looks like: http://www.pinterest.com/vwsouthtowne/das-vw-notchback/

I've had dreams where those that are close to me have been in situations and they are in places that I can't name or identify. Some type of intuition? Maybe. But as long as the next day I know that person is ok, I just chalk it up to being a dream.

Kids do tend to embrace technology better than older folks. For myself, I've never really had an issue of keeping up with it all. There are others my age (early 50's) who don't have a damn clue how anything works, clicking and swiping and not knowing what they are trying to accomplish as they get frustrated with their device.

Glad I could help with this goal. Congrats on the continued blogging each day. And the refocus on writing. While I have many distractions that I fight on a regular basis, I do love blogging and question why I don't find reasons to blog more instead of always looking back and finding it's been 10 days since I last blogged. So in a return of the favor, thanks for helping push me to blog each day in November. Going good, so far, even if it's late at night when I start the draft of a post (which sometimes bleeds over to the next day). As for comments, I still find that I associate them with who reads my blog posts. Even a short comment is something I look forward to. Even if that's not the real reason I go days without blogging (see above)

The most I've paid for a concert ticket (non scalper obtained) was $85 for Prince back in 2000. We had really good seats. Related, I paid an additional $30 to get into an after show concert at a local club that he performed at. Scalper (which I rarely purchase in all of the years of concert going) was $150 for 4th row tickets to U2 in 1997. For me, it was worth it to be that close.

Have you updated to iOS 8.1 yet? iOS 8.0.2 was pulled for being a mess (mostly affecting iPhone 6 and 6 Plus). Since the update to 8.1, my iPhones (including my wife's 5c) have been quick and working quite well.

Elections this year were a bummer for me as well. Granted, I got out and voted because I like to vote, even if there's not any worthwhile candidates that I can embrace and be happy if they get elected. That hasn't happened for years, which is sad. As for the Taylor Swift and Spotify yank, I don't blame her. I'm not a huge streaming fan. I like my music local and in a file I can see and backup. So as much as I don't like her music, I can't blame her as an artist wanting to maximize sales, which she did (and beat Eminem's 12 year record for sales in one week). As for albums this year, lackluster on several levels. There's a few that came out that I really like so far that will end up on my Best of list. Next week, we have Foo Fighters, which I'm going to say will be pretty close to the top. Pink Floyd... I am excited to hear this new album, even if all but one song is instrumental (the last song has vocals). I liked The Division Bell a lot and there were several stand out tracks that I played a lot, "What Do You Want From Me" and "Keep Talking" being two of them.

When I saw this Instagram, I was all like "cool find" Hope one of those bottles got cracked soon after you found them. Ice, tonic and limes and you are all set. You already knew my love of gin. Marie above says it tastes like cold medicine. I've heard other non-gin fans say turpentine. Botanicals.
