I found that planning definitely makes time go a bit faster! And thanks so much for the rec. Adding it to my GoodReads list!

A. Go at sunset. We looked up a sunset chart online and it said 8:26. We got on a cruise around 7:45. The cruises are an hour long. B. We chose the budget company, Vedettes Du Pont Neuf - http://www.vedettesdupontneuf.com/tickets/ . You can book ahead of time online for only 10 euro and you can take food and drink! You don't know what kind of a boat you will get, though. We wanted one with an open top and did not get it. But we made sure to wait in line to get on first so that we could get some seats in the open air portion on the front of the boat. Totally worth it!!!

Cathy I love you. I love that you are transparent. And authentic. And REAL. I love you. You have enriched my life SO MUCH by being in it. More than you can know. Thank you for just being YOU.

Hey there. :) I have to respectfully disagree! My goal is to leave knowing a "little Italian". Today I had a lovely conversation with a little old lady at the girls bus stop. She spoke zero English. And I understood most of what she said and was able to converse. So I don't think my expectations are unrealistic. I don't think I'll be fluent or anything. :)

Im choosing to be positive about that. The movers here are FAR more careful and respectful of my belongings.
