I mistakenly thought I was safe having olive skin. Good for you that you were careful Addi!
Yes our skin is our bodies largest organ Echo :)
It actually wasn't a mole Val. It was a spot sort of like a pickle that wouldn't go away on the side of my nose. It's a common area for certain types of skin cancer to occur. Scariest thing is the doctor would not have known if I had not pointed it out.
I'm sure we will all be fine if we start doing things differently now and keep an eye on our skin Jenise.
Yes, I'm glad our idea of "beauty" regarding tans have changed Amanda.
It was very scary and thank you for the compliment Dogvills!
Good for you Courtney! Some say that more than 90% of wrinkles are caused by the sun!

Thank you Carol. I'm starting to like hats!
As long as you are careful now, I bet you'll be fine Wendy :)
Michele, I was shocked to learn of this place where all that usually comes to my mind is South Beach!
It's a great place to visit while in Miami. Thank you for the compliment Susan!
Aisha that is so sweet for you to say!
Mega, that's great that you learned early and don't have the worries that so many adults do nowadays
Better late than never Sage :)
I will always wear a hat now too Kofla.

Thank you for your kind comment!

I'm a photography addict also. I have no desire to do it professionally, but I think one of the reasons I like to travel so much is to take photos of new places and things.

My daughter turned 25 in May and I definitely still consider her my baby. I love the photos you were "allowed" to share. I know what that's all about :)

I visited Tucson Arizona in the fall of 2013 so this is another post I am writing from memory. I wasn't really that excited about seeing the desert, but I was definitely pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the two-story high cactus, the colorful sunsets were gorgeous, and I loved... During my visit to Miami Florida in June 2015, I had the pleasure of attending a baseball game at the Marlins new stadium. This is a really new stadium that just opened in the spring of 2012. The Marlins were playing the New York Yankees that night and it was... Continue reading
