Oh, I have a purple girl! From the time she could identify colors, before she could even say them, she loved purple! For awhile, that was the only color she would wear. She's seven now, but still adores "her" color!

You will soon find that you sway whenever you are standing, whether you have the baby or not! I used Hypnobirthing for both of my kids, and while I can't say it was pain free, it was definitely doable. With my second it was only bad while pushing, because he came in less than an hour! (probably due to the hypnobirthing as well!)

Wow! Her dolls are fantastic! My mother is a doll collector and I think she'd like one as much as my daughter!

Beautiful! I just got the book for Mother's Day (after seeing the blouse on your blog, I asked for it;) and can't wait to start making things! Thanks for the tip on the skirt!

We draw all of the time, but I love the idea of the big family draw on one paper! It is so true that if you do it at home, kids will continue to be creative - my mom drew with me (and still does with my kids) and I'm now an artist. Exposing kids to different styles is important too - many believe that if you can't draw realistically, you can't draw. My daughter has fine motor problems, but loves to draw because she knows it doesn't have to look like "real life."

Oh, that is Exactly what I was doing yesterday! Boxer style shorts and elastic waist skirts - the summer wardrobe for the kids! My daughter is very into having matching applique t-shirts. I never thought I'd be that mom, but she delights in it so much, and I know in a year or two that will be the last thing she wants, so we are on our second set:)

It's so exciting when you are so close! Wishing you much comfort in the (hopefully!) last few days! I hope he doesn't keep you waiting for long.

So I'm not the only one who changes the house when the husband is away?;) Loved your post today - it brightened the dreary morning.

Charming! I really enjoy reading your blog. It inspired me to make my daughter's shorts and skirts for the summer, and she loved picking out the fabrics from my stash (and the sale at the quilt shop!)
