Sandra - I use Page in Photoscape http://www.photoscape.org/ps/main/index.php So easy to use! I also use Photoscape for editing my photos.
Project 52: Week 24
Quiet week with Wille away at a music festival. Aside from working I’ve been cutting hedges (using the AWESOME hedge shear for the first time), weeding, eating pickled herring for lunch and reading magazines. I also had frequent visits from Diesel. Aside from knowing where Mini and Bonus’ foo...
Dana - He's actually a mixed breed with Maine Coon!

etta - Yes it it and I am!
Fryin’
As you probably know if you’ve read this blog a while my cooking skills aren’t great. I’m not that into food and cooking but we all have to eat so I do cook almost every day. I have one of those induction hobs and until the other day I didn’t understand why I kept messing up my frying pans ...
Peggy - I still have the green one AND the navy elephant one stashed away. I know a bit excessive to have three huge trays but they work SO well as backsplashes and I love being able to switch them around AND use them as trays. I figure I'll part with at least one of them when Wille moves out one day. They are design classics so they won't ever go out of style. At least not in my book :).
Naomi - they tray is Manhattan by Josef Frank for Svenskt Tenn. http://www.svenskttenn.se/en-us/product/0139/brickor/ga11079/tray-rectangular-manhattan.aspx

Michelle - We did sit outside. I had borrowed a table very similar to our patio table from a neighbor and made a long table where we could all sit comfortably. We have six patio chairs (four on the patio and two on the balcony normally) + the four dining chairs. It worked really well!
The Decorations
After Wille graduated on Wednesday and after his tour of the town at the back of the truck I had invited Martin and my ex-in laws for dinner at our house. It was fun decorating the patio for the occasion. My theme was white. I know, so predictable but I really didn’t feel like going down...
Don Boys - I'm not but there's a contact form online in English where you can ask! http://www.hackman.fi/english/Contacts#contact-form-section

Rubber duck - I've never experienced anything like that when using them.

JB - Yes, I've heard that before :).
The Graduation
So Wille graduated last Wednesday! Tradition over here is that family members gather outside the school to greet the graduate with a sign with a photo of the graduate as a baby, toddler or child. I dug out this black and white photo and had it printed. At Wille’s school, which is quite a...

April - When Wille (Willam) was born his name was VERY uncommon back in 1994. Now it's on the list of most common names for newborns... So imagine our surprise when there were actually three 1994 Williams in Wille's class! Us parents must have been trend setters back then :).
Andi - Those names are much less common nowadays, now there's a lot of foreign influence. The Swedish names are probably making a comeback soon though as I'm noticing them more on babies again.

Sandy - It is by Alessi and it's great for fruit or other stuff like onions. It IS a generous size. Martin and I got it as a wedding present back in 1990 ad Martin let me have it :).

Sandy - I'm totally ok with him traveling on his own or with friends. Besides he's an adult so I don't really have a say :). He enjoys traveling with us but I think it's better to travel with friends, you learn so much more that way. He got quite a bit of cash as gifts for graduation so he might use some for a diving cerificate and then I assume he'd want to go travel somewhere where the fish are pretty :). I keep saying he should go on a work/tourist visa to Australia! There should be some pretty awesome diving there.
Project 52: Week 23
Yay! Last week Wille graduated from Gymnasiet!
Thanks all! Yes, we're very proud :)
Mel - Wille will take a leap year from studying. This summer he'll be working in my office for a month and after that he's applied to several paid internships. He'll know if he gets one at the beginnig of July. If he doesn't he'll get any job he can and possibly travel a bit. It's quite common to take a leap year over here.

Jeanette - I'm not 100% sure where I got it as I've had it for a few years. I think it was at the Moma gift shop. Hope you find it!
Green in Home Office
So here’s what the home office area in the living room used to look like. You can’t tell in this photo but at the far end of the desk there’s a window. Mini and Bonus love sitting on that window sill and to get to it they used my desk as their walkway. It meant I constantly had to wipe the de...
