Bupkis
Hello, My Friends!~~~ I drove to a relatively close by estate sale, waited in line about 15 minutes, and emerged with nothing, nada, bupkis. But that happens sometimes. However, the sale was one of the oddest ones run by an estate sale company that I've ever been to. First of all I learned that ...

The Pin-Up Brooch Holder Tutorial
We interrupt the usual sewing-related posts here at The Sew Weekly for a little tutorial that involves a little bit of stitching and a little bit of Ikea. While the best way to store all my vintage brooches is probably in cotton, in boxes and in the dark, I like to keep my costume jewelry on ...

This past weekend I wore my newly made favorite peasant top. I have it pictured on my blog now. An older (in her 70's) lady rushed up to me to tell me how adorable I looked and how nice it was to see someone expecting wearing an appropriate top and not one of those shirts that hug the pregnant belly! LOL! Well, I'm NOT expecting, but told her I was flattered since I'm really past the childbearing age, so not to be embarrassed and I would take it as a compliment. Anyway, all this to say...I never thought in a million years of wearing a peasant top tucked in! It looks great, and I may give that a try, although I just love the freedom of my peasant tops letting it all hang out too...I don't want to feel like I look pregnant either. Love your blog and visit often!
