Ooh, Alexis, this looks tasty! I've been making eggs in a hole in toast for breakfast lately. So yummy and quick.

What a cute idea. It's nice the boys were away so the girls could play.

Thanks for the recipe. I like that it has no sweetener in it. I'll try it in the breadmaker...have you tried that?

Wow...you've impressed me. We do love the beach but I also have a healthy fear of it with two little ones in tow. Wondering if we might have to use life jackets this summer. The combination of two overly confident boys and large waves scares me.

Wow! That's a lot of cookies to make. The cookbook looks lovely. I've just started one that celebrates cooking by the season. New cookbooks are so inspiring.

I love the new editing style today and the rounded corners. Wish we had a mud puddle like that around here!

I love your log cabins...I remember making one in elementary school that was carefully measured but I love the loose uneven look! The quilts you linked to are a perfect idea for breaking up the bright squares. Thank you!

I just posted about your giveaway on my blog, which has been sorely neglected lately...so thanks for the boost to post! I forgot to say congrats on a great year of writing. I hope you feel good about what you've accomplished this year...you should!

We use real eggs, too, and always have. It's not so important what we do with them after Easter, as how we decorated them beforehand...plaids, stripes, strawberry colored ones, eggs with drips of different colored dyes, lace wrapped eggs...we did it all! The rolling of the eggs down the hill sounds so interesting! Happy Easter to you all.

Oh, I'm just noticing I used way too many exclamation marks in my comment. I hate it when people do that and I'm the worst offender! (see?!)

Cute gnome! I didn't realize you live in Nevada! We're headed to Vegas next weekend for a vacation. Hope the rain stops by then. And wow, you do have a lot of hooks! (previous post) Your birthday pictures with the candlelight are beautiful! Happy Easter!

What a great theme for an indoor birthday party! I'm always looking for those ideas with my boys' birthdays in early February. Looks like lots of fun!
