I've always enjoyed finding reasons to celebrate with our family, whether it's a full-fledged party or a happy breakfast, lunch, or dinner celebration. And speaking of meal celebrations, by simply decorating the table, your meal becomes a celebration! For a... Continue reading

We celebrated Colin's mom and dad's 50th wedding anniversary a couple of weeks ago. All they wanted was for their entire family to be there to celebrate with them. So, all of Colin's siblings, their spouses, fiancees, and children descended... Continue reading

Thanks, Pam. It's really nice to hear from other moms who have gone through this time. We are finding our peace in this time and do believe it is all a part of God's plan. We actually do have some adventurous plans in our future as well. I'm so thankful for all of the stages... some of them are just a little more challenging to adjust to. Much love, Serena

Good luck, Kay! Hopefully your plants will get bigger and stronger with the soil amending. If you end up buying a hedge trimmer someday, I definitely recommend going with one that's really heavy duty. I made the mistake of buying a small one at first and it wasn't nearly strong enough to cut through the woody stalks of the lavender. Wishing you happy hedges! :) Serena
