Time has flown since this year's Farm Chicks Vintage & Handmade Fair and I haven't had a chance to do a re-cap of the lovely Pre-Show Creatives Gathering until now. Such a special part of owning my own business is... Continue reading

Not long after I got home from Adriana's bridal shower, the bluff started getting smokey. I was worrying about grandma and grandpa's 50th wedding anniversary outdoor party the next night and the possibility of the smoke causing problems. Nobody really... Continue reading

Thank you, Christina. For some reason, hearing from another mom who is going through the same thing is such a comfort. Congratulations to you as well. Much love, Serena

Thanks, Pam. It's really nice to hear from other moms who have gone through this time. We are finding our peace in this time and do believe it is all a part of God's plan. We actually do have some adventurous plans in our future as well. I'm so thankful for all of the stages... some of them are just a little more challenging to adjust to. Much love, Serena

Good luck, Kay! Hopefully your plants will get bigger and stronger with the soil amending. If you end up buying a hedge trimmer someday, I definitely recommend going with one that's really heavy duty. I made the mistake of buying a small one at first and it wasn't nearly strong enough to cut through the woody stalks of the lavender. Wishing you happy hedges! :) Serena

After we built our house and some initial landscaping was put in, basically a lawn and plant beds surrounding the house, I started thinking about the types of plants I wanted filling the beds. Initially, we paid a landscape architect... Continue reading
