I went to Mineral Beach last week and took a dip in the Dead Sea. The water was 77(F), 25(C) - air temperature 70(F), 21(C), sunny, slight breeze. The water felt cool, but not unpleasant since the sun was warm. There were about 50 people at the beach and almost all went into the water, so I would conclude that taking a dip in the Dead Sea in January is quite doable. Continue reading
