Angie this was always the case for me. I'm not sure what changed.

Walking is great too! Thanks!

Little goals are really the way to go. I started out running 60 seconds and walking 90. I also talked about doing this for about 3 years before I actually did anything about it. :) I like the new show too. And I do tell myself often, if they can do it, so can I! Great job sticking with it your routine!

Great post. I am a mom four uncircumsised boys. I'd like to think the woman they pick to marry would look past that part of them to the men they will be. (In answer to your friend's reasoning.)

I just got back from the longest run I've ever done. It's no distance that will blow anyone away. Yet, if you'd have told me six months ago (really even 6 weeks ago) that I'd be out there running 25... Continue reading

This is so funny! Such creativity. I can't stand the "slug bug/punch buggy/whatever else it's called" game. Mostly because it usually ends with someone saying "Mooooooom *enter siblings name* punched me." I LOVE your made up rules though. A whole new twist :) Great post!

Wow! I'm shocked! That is so unprofessional of them. I have been to the doctor with my kids lots of times, for xrays even, and the staff was more than helpful about keeping an eye on my kiddos. I'm sorry you had such a lousy experience and hope you feel better soon!

Recently, my littlest guy turned three. I kept thinking it was time to put the diapers behind us, but I am a master procrastinator. Potty training is not my strongest area of parenting. It requires a certain amount of staying... Continue reading

Have the best time! Travelling with kids is a completely different experience (and yes, way harder to pack for!) than without but it's still fun! Enjoy the beach!

This cracks me up! My now 7 year old had scarlet fever too, and it freaked me out until the doctor told me it was just strep throat. I love modern medicine and how these illnesses are just common place now and so easy to treat. Although, croup is scary no matter how you slice it. I hope she feels better!

Oh this makes me glad I have all boys! It sounds like you handled it awesomely. Especially when it wasn't quite expected yet. Really! Good job mom!

I have been there! It took me about two years to finally join a Moms Club group here in FL. And it took a few months after that to find out which moms I really felt comfortable with. You can do it! I am pretty sure a lot of others have felt the same way!

I have to laugh at your dad's comment because I have a feeling my mother would say the same about me had I written the exact same post about my boys rooms... which I totally could.

I confess I was getting a little bit indignant (but babies cry for a reason!) and then a little "this can't be for real." Finally, I remembered it was April Fools Day! Funny stuff!

I don't think the questions ever stop. I have 4 boys and people ask me if I'm going to "try for a girl" all the time. Or they assume I have four boys because I was "trying to get a girl." The answer to both is no by the way. ;) Family planning is such a personal thing, and only you know what is right for you.

Me too. I leave my 7 & 8 year olds to take care of themselves. But I totally still pick the little one's noses. I can't help it.

Thank you for this post. I have been on a road to more healthy eating for me & my kids for awhile. If I think about it I really do mostly shop the outer edges of the store. But, like most families (I think) we still have plenty of improvements to make! It's all a process. Just want to let you know I'm on my way to sign that petition too.

I knew where I was going to college (right in the town I grew up in) but I was terrified, so I really drug my feet on actually registering/enrolling. Maybe he's got some nerves going on. :)
