I am in agreement with you about the celebrity thing. When I worked in a big art gallery in the SouthWest many years ago, we did have the occasional Hollywood "star" drop in every once in a while. It would have been really bad form for employees to gather round and gush. Actually, seeing them in person was something of a let down. Now, every time I see the commercial for Royal Mail (U.K.) where the female postmistress gushes and swoons upon meeting Westlife and Roger Moore in the tiny, rural post office, it reminds me of my gallery days...NOT, but it is funny.
