You're so right Niels...we will both do what we have to do to move and maybe even push ourselves forward. We are survivors...or as a friend said THRIVERS! So good to have so many wonderful and supportive people in my life in these times. Miss you-Lots of Love to you and Bodil-Laury

I know I'm not alone in struggling to make sense of times that don't make sense from a place where everything is getting murkier and murkier with each passing day. I long for simpler times when I felt safe. I... Continue reading

I am not the kind of person that is comfortable with uncertainty. I often tease about doing the dangle dance. After Katrina, I felt dangling. After the fire, I feel floating. I'm still floating and probably will be until I... Continue reading

As I wander around the states, I've been struck by the concept of time once more and the collecting of time pieces. I love the surrealist sculpture on the left that you can find in Paris. Salvador Dali has also... Continue reading

As Glenn and Bill and I stood inside the museum on Friday afternoon, we made the decision to go the quilt exhibit first. Looking back, I'm so grateful we did. I know that I would not have had the energy... Continue reading

Best not forget the coffee and "'rithmatic!" I didn't realize until I sat down to do the paperwork for the workshops, that I had really been working pretty much non-stop. It began the week heading up to the first set... Continue reading

I'm finding today that I'm really missing home. As it gets closer to making plans to return, I know I'll be returning to the apartment. I don't know how long I'll have to be there. I'm realizing that I need... Continue reading

You are too funny...I'm working on JUST SAY NO TO STUFF! It is a challenge. Coming home, I don't think it'll be done enough for me to return...and then Christiane told Evelyn that the decontamination guys come back at the end for another round after all the work is done-interesting process for sure. Two days of workshops ahead...crash on Sunday. But, it's all been good and being here has been good too. Miss you and love you and Bodil-Lots of Love, Laury
