What Parts Are Missing?
I feel relatively sure this post will offend some folks, but I post this truth without apology. If this offering offends you to the point of never reading my posts again, well "The Naked Pastor" and I hope you soon find what part of the body you are. Perhaps this may hit a little to close to hom...
Got it, I'm going back to my former font as soon as I get out of the toilet. You know how I am all about paper work.

Covenant or Contract
I have been doing some serious thinking for the last couple months. It stated came out in our national officers meeting for SFC. The subject was stimulated even more by my friends Mike & Linda Jones. Here are my thoughts in a nutshell. We seem to prefer contracts over covenants since they can be...

You Choose….
Jeff McKeown and I have been talking about “choices” for several years. Here are the conclusions I’ve come to: 1. Life is just one choice after another. 2. We make choices without having all the information God has. 3. Those choices without any God info come back to bite us. 4. There are alway...

Back In The States Again!!!
Today I Wednesday I think, I also believe I am coherent enough to post a blog. We’ll know for sure in just a few minutes. I used to laugh at people who would talk of such nonsense as jet lag and proclaim in a loud youthful voice," “it’s just in them old people’s head”. Now that I am officially a...
Johnny,
I know you and Kate have not forgotten our very first little boy named George. He has not moved in yet due to his age (18 months), safety issues with constant construction taking place and he is presently being cared for till be can be totally ready for him. We want to make sure we can do what we do and do it well. His bed is being held and no one will take little George's place. Just a loving reminder from one who needs to be reminded a lot!

Expansion
Kate mentioned yesterday that we moved in our first orphaned boy to Christopher’s House. His name is Geoffrey, and he is Edith’s brother. Edith is the youngest orphaned girl who lives with us in our home. I cannot even begin to tell you how excited we are to have taken this step. Sometimes exp...

Just waiting for graduation day,

School Fees
I wrote yesterday that I would be writing about school fees today, and so here I am writing about school fees. School starts again on the 5th of May, and the fees are due at that time. Our total school fee bill is 66,000 Kenyan shillings, which is about $835 U.S. dollars. We pay this every thre...
Rafiki, you read too closely. It was my first typo ever, OK maybe more than my first. Thanks for keeping me on the ball.
Welcome to Kenya (part 24)
Well here I am again, It's already Friday morning the 27th of April here in Nakuru. While the western world sleeps it is time to start our day. I am thankful that it is Friday, the ministry we provide actually slows down a bit. For the first time in thirty plus years of "ministry" Sunday has act...
