Great idea! My daughter has plastic tiaras to spare. Off to go borrow one. ;)

Thats awesome. Good luck with your book!
You are too kind Laura! Thank you for taking the time to comment.
Hi Rosa! You know, thats not a bad idea. I will definitely consider how I might do that! Thanks for commenting.
Brilliant! Great tips. And this post reminds me exactly why you've always been one of my favorite scrapbookers.

Yes! This especially: "The group requires commitment, confidentiality, willingness to both give and receive advice and ideas, and support each other with total honesty, respect and compassion." This is exactly what has arisen from our yearly get-togethers. I find it amazing that we created our little collaboration almost by accident. We didn't set out to create a junto (thanks Benjamin Franklin for the perfect word), but that's exactly what our friendship has become over the years. p.s. You captured and reflected our late-night brainstorm about this topic pitch-perfectly and added some amazing flavor of your own. Well done! p.p.s. Why aren't you in the picture?

Thanks so much, Alissa! And thanks for your kind thoughts about Jovie. Unfortunately, we just had to find her a more suitable home, which temporarily broke my daughters heart. When we moved a couple of years ago, our new neighborhood started bringing out the very worst in her. She needed an environment without young children that doesnt have a constant stream of joggers and bicyclists to stimulate her chase instinct. :(

Thank you, Annalys. I agree. Our heritage and traditions bind us together, and they matter so much. Happy Easter to you!
Thank you Stacy! Grandmas are the best. ;)
Thanks for the blog recommendation! I will definitely check it out. :)

Thanks for your comment, Kim! Yes bloviating is one of those delightful words that sounds exactly like its definition: speaking at length, especially in an inflated or empty way. Isnt it just perfect? ;)

Lucky girl! Nieces are the best. :)
Marie, that WOULD have been a great idea to film the sentence. Ha! Speaking of brilliant sentences, I love how you said this: work to nourish someone elses space. There are definitely similarities with ghostwriting and behind-the-scenes design-team work.

Wow, Gracie! That's impressive. Just tell her to hang in there through book one. It wanders into the weeds a few times (SO MUCH backstory and cultural history of all of the different races), but things definitely pick up in The Two Towers.

Me too. :) I've already got 3.5 under my belt so far in 2015, so I'm on pace to beat last year's count. Currently on the Kindle: Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Believe it or not, I had never read them before. Just The Hobbit in 8th grade.
