Thanks for your comment, Kim! Yes bloviating is one of those delightful words that sounds exactly like its definition: speaking at length, especially in an inflated or empty way. Isnt it just perfect? ;)

Lucky girl! Nieces are the best. :)
Marie, that WOULD have been a great idea to film the sentence. Ha! Speaking of brilliant sentences, I love how you said this: work to nourish someone elses space. There are definitely similarities with ghostwriting and behind-the-scenes design-team work.

Wow, Gracie! That's impressive. Just tell her to hang in there through book one. It wanders into the weeds a few times (SO MUCH backstory and cultural history of all of the different races), but things definitely pick up in The Two Towers.

Me too. :) I've already got 3.5 under my belt so far in 2015, so I'm on pace to beat last year's count. Currently on the Kindle: Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Believe it or not, I had never read them before. Just The Hobbit in 8th grade.

p.s. I am with you on Malcolm Gladwell. I love him. I "thought" I had read both A River Runs Through It and In Cold Blood. I definitely still own the first one. But I don't see either on my GoodReads list. So maybe I'm just remembering the movies. Hm.

Congratulations on hitting the big 30! You beat me by ONE. :) And only because I just barely decided to own up to my Christmas-break-romance-novel-reading-binge, and I logged four more titles into GoodReads. Ha. I will add several of these to my "to read" list.

I remember that SO clearly, Susan! It doesnt feel like quite that long ago, does it? I even remember when I first met you through the Funnest Scrapbooker Ever contest. Ha! It is a great industry full of wonderful people. I adore you too!

You are right. We memory keepers generally have no shortage of indoor projects awaiting us. :) I will borrow that outlook for myself.

You know who would be perfect of drawing that map that shows how everyone is interconnected, where they came from, who they work for, etc.? Wendy Smedley. You mention any name, and she can recite their resume instantly. Ill have to convince her to create an infographic! ;)
