Gaurav, I wonder whether your IT is blocking the service for some reason? as it should work if signed in to 360
Autodesk Live Map – AutoCAD Civil 3D 2014 Workflow
Probably not as obvious on how to use this service as Civil has is own coordinate system. Saying that though, all you have to do is turn it on! http://youtu.be/fVMLLmUaQhY Jack Strongitharm
Yes you can use it commercially, however I guess I didn't mention that you cannot print/plot with these maps, they are purely for your use in design than final presentation

Unfortunately will be a couple of weeks yet.
You can always switch out the Civil 3D part.
I take it you can only see the IDS download now on subscription center?

In a continuing effort to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released AutoCAD Civil 3D 2013 Hotfix 2 which fixes or addresses a variety of issues discovered by customers and by Autodesk's internal testing team. via beingcivil.typepad.com Been away for a week, but just in case you missed ...
Just installed it myself and it ran fine with the UKIE icon.
Potentially your issue is to do with the secondary installer. Did you install Civil 3D yourself or did you have someone in IT install originally?
If you delete your user profile it might repair it.
I would personally log an issue with our support team on subscription centre and get their advice
Also you could check out this post on the Being Civil blog on resetting user profiles

Yes it has been removed as the volume dashboard is more informative on where you results come from.
However the command (_AeccReportSurfaceVolume) is still retained, so you can either add to the toolbox or to the ribbon etc if you still wish to use it.

AutoCAD Civil 3D Profile Optimisation on the Cloud – Project Silverstar
About time we got a cloud application to use for design purposes. Not necessarily a magic button for design, but this tool can work out a solution based on a number of parameters for vertical slope, tie ins, volumes etc. It is a PVI solution, so I would like you to give it a try and give some fe...
Welcome to John, took his time!

You can use subassembly composer pkt files with both 2011 and 2012.
Its only the corridor solids tool which is 2012 only.
So if you are still on 2011 as your main version, you could at least just open and create the solids with 2012 and send them to a new drawing as it will still be 2010 dwg format.

BIM for Infrastructure - Corridor Solids
Is this the big BIM capability that make Civil 3D stand out? Beyond the traditional surface and linework output we can now create solid objects from corridor models. http://labs.autodesk.com/utilities/civil3d_corridor_solids/ Create corridor solids from the shapes in subassemblies by construct...

Cut and Fill Tadpoles - TIP and TRICK
Something I have been meaning to do for a while. The tadpole symbol I have in the UKIE country kit upto 2012 was a bit poor and also not set up to draw in separate colours for cut and fill as I am sure most of us plot in colour. So here you can download the sample file with some new styles in ...
Check your style is set to bylayer in the components. There will be one for the tadpole block and another for the line extension.

I can answer that one. We have a slight issue on how regions get exported and that especially with those region stations picked from screen or the intersection/junction tool gaps are possible. Not always obvious in Civil 3D.
So the quick fix for now is to add 1mm or a small value in the frequency at the start of those affected regions and they will close.

Rendering Trees in 3DS Max Civil View

AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012 - British Kerbs Properties
With the UK and Ireland country kit are some British Standard Kerb, Channel and Edgings in the subassemblies. However I found an issue too late to fix it in the release due to time limits on submissions. However, it is easily fixed in windows explorer. There are two dll’s stored in this loca...
This was all enabled through AutoTRACK working on Civil 3D. Their Junction/Intersection module of AutoTRACK connects direct through to Arcady and links everything together.
The AutoTRACK roundabout is creating the Civil 3D alignments dynamically from the data and the Civil 3D corridor model reacts to the changes that are taking place.
Really simple!
Roundabout Design: Dynamic, 3D and adjusted by traffic analysis!
Its great when I can have some time with some developers as some good ideas come together. The guys at Savoy Computing and TRL with Arcady, put together a very cool 2D roundabout tool in recent months. After spending some time with them, we now have it Civil 3D enabled where it is pushing out Ci...
