Wow. Scott Brown is HOT! And, he is fifty! For those of you who don't know, he is the newly elected Senator from Massachussetts. Why is it that the fifty year olds I encounter on Match.com seem to be headed... Continue reading

I love Anderson Cooper. In every disaster, he gets right there, down and dirty, in the heart of a story. While watching his show on CNN Friday night, I was shocked to see human beings being dumped into a hole... Continue reading

Dust? You have got to be kidding me! My desk top is over 4 years old and the tower is filled with dust (sorry Mr.Clean) so that is a lame excuse. I would send a letter to Dell and copy every government agency you can think of. That is what I do in New York and I get a response.

I just returned from visiting my friend Karen in the hospital. She had hip replacement surgery. We met years ago while commuting on the lovely LIRR. I hate hospitals. After having spent most of my formative years visiting my mom... Continue reading

You are right. I need to be more open-minded and throw caution to the wind. Stay tuned!

While sipping some green tea (trying to get healthy in the new year), I am pondering a suggestion made by two of my buddies. Do I increase the age range on my match.com profile? Friday, while lamenting the fact that... Continue reading

Full and brutally honest disclosure here. I have been on Match.com for 4 1/2 months and I have not had one date. Not one. I consider myself attractive and fun and smart. So, what gives? Yes, men have winked and... Continue reading

Sadly, I must admit that I watch the MTV show Jersey Shore. As an Italian, I find it downright disgraceful. I do not know any - let me repeat - ANY Italians who act like these losers do. I have... Continue reading

DITTO GIRL! I am kinda figuring out what mine does. I will definitely check out how it is that I am viewing your site.
I have always been one who believes in our legal system. Looking around the world at the various kangaroo courts I see, I believe we have the best justice system. Okay, OJ is the exception. So, when I received my... Continue reading

Ever the optimist, I began 2010 with hopes that things might be different on Match.com. Alas, I guess optimism (in place of dates) is all I have. Check out this photo of one guy who recently "winked" at me. I... Continue reading

This poem was read at Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis' funeral and I thought it is appropriate for New Years. As you set out in search of Ithaka Pray that your journey be long, full of adventures, full of awakenings. Do not... Continue reading

Oh my gosh! I had a similar truffle story last Christmas (maybe that is why I did not attempt them this season). I scraped that chocolate and rolled those little balls until my biceps hurt! I thought they were ugly too until every said how tasty they were at Christmas Eve dinner. It is not about the truffles. Jesus is the gift!

I do love snow! I wish I were a skier. I would be in it all the time. Blizzard 2009 brought the best snow. It was so light and fluffy and easy to shovel. Not that wet kind of icky... Continue reading

Dreamy? YES! Email sent so we will see what happens.
These last few months on Match.com have been depressing. Not one date. Don't get me wrong, men write to me but I am not interested in these men. Absolutely nothing about these men interests me. Not the profile photos or... Continue reading
