Stine-We change around the sale days and times with each RSVP series so everyone, including international folks, have a chance to a series. When there are only 10 of something, it goes fast.

Veronica, It is a shame when letter writing starts to feel like more of a chore than a pleasure. Our swap is pretty open in terms of scope. The age range is anywhere between 13-75, both genders, and world-wide. Our highest grouping of members is in the US, Canada, and England. You can specify age, gender, and are, if you want, but it is not necessary. The only restriction with the L.W.A. pen pal swap is that it is for members only, that way you know you are communicating with someone who loves letter writing as much as you do. If you become a member, you can sign up here (login needed): http://16sparrows.com/LWA/member/pen.html If you arent ready to be come a member, the lovely folks at Good Mail Day also run a pen pal swap. This swap is more mail art oriented, though there are plenty of letter lovers in the pack too. You can find more info about it on their blog here: http://goodmailday.com/2011/12/16/2012-call-for-correspondents/ I hope this helps. Let me know if you need any further info! -Kathy

Ooh, now those sound delicious.
I never really thought about it either until I saw it in this Logan Square shop called Provenance. The recipe suggestions on the label is what sold me - the cocktail and coffee glaze on cinnamon rolls? Yes please.
Bwahahaha

Kimberly, Im not entirely sure. I would think that kind of beeswax would be considered food grade. I think the reason this determination is made in the recipe is because they dont want you use beeswax that is for use in making candles. With my experience in using that type of beeswax, the material is white, almost clear, and creates different results than when I melted this foodgrade beeswax. I hope this helps! Kathy

Noel, The tablet is the Wacom Bamboo Splash model and I got it off of Amazon. They have three different models within the Bamboo range, depending on what your design needs are.

Wendy, I can recommend two different cowl patterns that are good starters, depending on what skills you are comfortable with. If you just want to knit and purl to make texture, the Aibhlinn is a good one: http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEwinter04/PATTaibhlinn.html When I knit it, I excluded the bobbles at the edges of the cowl: http://ravel.me/16sparrows/a3 If you want to do decreases/increases this Chunky Cowl is great: http://erica-knits.blogspot.ca/2008/01/chunky-knit-cowl-pattern.html It is a super quick knit. Here is my version: http://ravel.me/16sparrows/ckcp

Eva, It looks like it was from an interview he did. I was able to locate the quote in a book called Listening to the Land where Williams was interviewed by Derrick Jensen. Here is a link to the passage I found: http://preview.tinyurl.com/bxanudk

They were fun because of the changing of colors. I dont find socks boring though, since you have to change to heel, gusset, etc.

Terri - Thanks! JJ - I do most of my knitting in our living room so I can watch movies or listen to my Old Time Radio while I work. Most of my yarn is in a basket by the living room couch, but there is a small basket next to that orange chair that is out of sight of the camera that has some soon to be worked with yarns. I dont really have much of a stash though; I buy my yarn by project need.

Hi Adrienne, We only have a tiny amount and need them to hold us over til we get our new NEW member pride items in, but, if any are left over at that time, well offer them for sale on the site. (Heck, we might be doing that any way because I like them soooooooo much, but well have to see.) -Donovan

Im pretty sure its domestic to the US only, but there may be other programs through other countrys postal services that are similar. -Donovan
Hi Rachel, It means that we intend the rubber stamp to be used to mark over the stamps so that they cant be used for remailing, just like a regular postal cancellation, as seen here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cancellation_%28mail%29 You can, of course, use it for decoration or whatever else you wish. Cheers, Donovan
