I love dolls with curly hair, but I'd probably like making dolls with braids better. Much more my speed! I am so intrigued by this book.....

So far this afternoon, the thing that made me happiest was getting all 3 kids to the dr for their flu shots, which went super-quick and super-easy, and we even made it out in time to get free parking! Another thing that makes me happy is your sweet designs, especially the Christmas sweaters. Happy blogiversary and thanks for a very generous giveaway!

What a great idea! Someone actually wrote this in my 7th grade yearbook -- "I would write something better, but my PEACH is waiting!" I had very pragmatic friends. Congrats on book #2!

I've always been a knitter and never a crocheter, but now I'm intrigued! I would love to learn to do this! I'm already thinking of all the things I could decorate.....

Recently I was in the grocery store and I encountered a cloud of mustard gas, I mean, a floral-ish yet chemical scent that made me literally gag. Imagine my horror when, several aisles later, I encountered the lady who was spreading this scent everywhere she had been as much as several minutes earlier. I literally could not be in the same aisle with her. NOT something you want to run into in the grocery store where FOOD is involved. It was horrible. Also my sister-in-law insists on immersing herself in some horrible odor (perfume? hairspray?) that lingers after she has left the room and ON MY CHILDREN after she has hugged them. Now, I'm not a freak, but I bathe my children after they've been near her because I just can't stand it. WHY do people do this??
I voted! Right now you're in 2nd place....I'll keep my fingers crossed!

Oh my gosh -- these are THE CUTEST hedgehogs I've ever seen! (And that's saying a lot.) Excellent job!

200 is one hundred times my favorite number. Also how many hours in a row I could probably sit and knit (or read)!

Zebra, porcupine, and a giraffe behind a fence? Only because I hope that's not a snake behind that fence.

The aqua flower grid pendant on 2monkees' site is very cool! I haven't seen a round pendant like that! I also like the domino bird pendants.

I've always LOVED Beatrix Potter. Very Victorian, I know, but her characters look SO realistic! With a hat! Or a shawl, or whatever.

Wow! You really have a sixth sense for finding great fabric. I can never find awesome stuff like that. What a treasure trove! Incidentally, is anyone else curious about the scandalous story or is it just me? I always feel like it's the stories behind vintage things that add so much to their dimension.

Funny - I was looking at the top two thinking, "that looks like cross-sections of a vein, or the view from a red blood cell." When I got to the green one I thought, "that looks like a landscape or things growing on a farm." THEN I got to where you wrote "biomorphic" and I thought, "That's it!" Very cute!

Oh, Soulefamily, I'm so sorry about your house hunting pains. That roller coaster is so awful. Take heart that you live in an unbelievably gorgeous part of the country. I'm sure something will eventually work out for you! Good luck and hang in there. (And you do good work, SoulePapa!)
