I adore D.E. Stevenson. Miss Buncle and The Four Graces would have been my choice for comfort reading if I hadn't recently reread them! I'm so pleased that they're finally reprinting some of her books.

My first bit of celebration after the deadline: joining a couple of the guys at work who are big antiquing fans on their trek to Brimfield. If you haven't heard of it, Brimfield is somewhere between an antiques show and... Continue reading

Mary, I love your blog! Your work is beautiful, and I love looking at glimpses of your life. For the Anglophile in me, the notion of being a librarian at Oxford? Living in a vicarage? SEWING? Your life is my cozy mysteries. I would imagine that, much like my life in historic preservation, the fictional version is much more romantic than the reality!

I just wish that I was more like both of them! Maybe if I hang out with them enough, some of those social skills will rub off?
