Interests: I'm a digital scrapbooker who still plays with paper sometimes, a photographer, and a quilter. And I am not allowed to find anymore hobbies! I'm also married with three kids and I used to be an attorney before I entered the land of SAHMs. Currently, I'm stuck in the midwest and dream of returning to the coast of Maine one day. You will see a lot of scrapbook layouts on my blog, photos of my quilts and ramblings about quilt designs and fabric, along with lots of family photos and goofy stories about our life. I love to have comments on my blog and I love to connect with others who enjoy scrapbooking, quilting and photography so feel free to drop me a line and introduce yourself. :)

I tried out the Project Life app last week and was impressed for the most part. My first thought was that it had the potential to help me catch up with 2014's album very, very quickly. And after working with... Continue reading

I think children should come with a warning that time speeds up once they reach their teen years. I feel as though I'm in a time warp where my kids are bulleting through life and reaching new milestones almost daily.... Continue reading

About a year ago, we got rid of cable TV and started watching select shows only through streaming services. But after struggling the whole year to find an antenna that would allow us to receive local channels, we gave up... Continue reading

Hi Steff! I emailed you but just in case you don't see it, here's how you get the week number. To get the number added to the week on your calendar, you have to have ios 8 installed on your iphone. Then go to settings>mail, contacts, calendars>week numbers. Hope it works for you! Steph :)

Last summer, Emily asked for "an old-fashioned patchwork quilt." I let her go through my stash of fabrics and we decided to dip into my grandmother's fabrics, too. When my grandmother died nine years ago, I got all of her... Continue reading

I’ve felt the itch to start blogging again all summer. It’s come and gone several times but it’s always kind of in the back of my mind. I’ll have three or four ideas all pop into my head and just... Continue reading

I can't remember when Dead Poets Society wasn't my favorite movie. I can't remember a time when I didn't adore Robin Williams. He brought such joy to everyone. He will be so very missed. Continue reading

Hard to believe but the school year is finally over. Unlike most other school years, this one seemed to drag along forever. We're all so relieved that it's over and truly hoping to find a lot of time to relax.... Continue reading

I’m still plugging away on 2013’s Project Life! Only three months left to go and then I’m done. I wasn’t planning on doing PL for 2014 but I’m reconsidering. It’s just sooooo much easier to get it done now that... Continue reading
