Oh no Big Reason - I just think it's hard to have your name and your brand be the same thing. It's (much) harder to separate who you are and what you do. But obviously it works for some (ahem, Martha Stewart!) ;)

I keep it there all the time! This is our guest bathroom so it doesn't get as much use, but when people are in down they just shower with it there. We have a lot of light in the bathroom so that helps and I water it by sticking it in the plugged sink (and letting it pull water up from the bottom) about every two weeks.

Oh man, I have dreamed about owning a large format FOREVER. I am so happy with this one. I haven't been doing too much small photo printing these past few months (just one PL layout a month) but I will be using it for some 12x12 photos that I need for sure. Canon has a smaller, portable, selphy printer and tons of "traditional" size printers as well for printing smaller photos. :)

hey! Canon sent me a few printers that I will be sharing more about over the next few months. I have the Selphy that I'm printing small photos on, the large format (shared in this post) that I am printing bigger projects on and then a "normal" 8.5x11 printer that I am using as my daily printer since my HP photosmart bit the bullet this summer. :)

oh it will be a hot mess. Thankfully all the big frames are attached with Command strips that take QUITE FORCE to pull down.

It's more of a matte paper and called Pro Luster by Canon. :)

use command strips! Work great and no wall holes!

Good question! I don't think it feels smaller, just intense (in a very good way!). It helps that we have some natural light coming in. If there is a window, I say go for it!

I shared this in one of the earlier "chapters." I was active on a scrapbooking message board and a lot of people found me there. Once I had the daily card blog I had a "creative point" and people that found me from the sb site shared it which drove more traffic. I also had a link on facebook in 2006 which helped get more people reading too.

Not nearly as much in 2010 as I had in 2008. :)
