Family & Home: and gratitude...
Its was my birthday yesterday. I was 42 years old. Thats 42 years worth of living! I am so grateful for that. Sunday night I had a lovely dinner with my family. We had some slow cooked Indian curries, salad & lemon meringue pie for dessert. Delicious. I've been spoiled with some lovely gifts. ...

Arty Things: To be or not to be...
I try my hardest not to get too distracted by headlines & carrots on social media, magazine covers, facebook, forums, daily digests. They are all so clever at grabbing my attention or pulling people into a debate. I big time procrastinate so I try to mindfully have to physically pull myself a...
OMG, I'm so pleased you said that last bit. I agree & I got sucked in. I've actually written a whole huge long post about blogging, my voice & sensationalism. I tidied it all up last night & its ready to go but I'm a bit afraid to publish. I don't want controversy but I think others might relate.
If I can give you any advice Lauren is to just go for it. And if you don't know what 'it' is then doing all sorts might help. Life IS too short. Making some headway before you have too many other huge responsibilities is a great time to get started. I do think we are all here for some purpose [could be several purposes!] & if you do what you love & work hard, good things can happen. If you are happy & a good citizen & independent - your parents of course will be proud - what is not to be proud of there? Wishing you all the luck.
Thanks for visiting lovely. xo

It was 1998. [I know, not a childhood memory, but I was still in my 20's & I have so much from all over the place I want recorded]. I had recently accepted a package from the Federal Government who were outsourcing employment & training programs to the private sector. I had already been ...
Thank you sweet. It really is so dear to me, that something I made, is hanging somewhere in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
I dont doubt for a second that it is so beautiful right about now!

Hello beautiful lady, thank you for being so brave & sharing. There are lots of us who you inspire so much, try to remind yourself of that. I don't want to add any pressure. We know you aren't flawless, my goodness, is anyone? Just know we love you for YOU, and that means, the sunny days & the rainy ones.
I've missed reading your blog, its one of the few ones I read often. It will be lovely to have you back writing & sharing your beautiful pictures again. Go forth & be the fabulous person you already are. Much love & big cuddles. Kate xoxoxo

Arty Things: Happy happy & in the zone!
Last week I had sick kiddies home from school & kindy, almost every day a different combination of them, it started as head colds [no doubt from the swinging weather] for all of us & ended in a nasty gastro for the two school girls. So I played nurse all week. Not so fun. But in between all t...
