Hi Stampers, The Merry Wishes stamp set and coordinating Merry Tags framelits dies make quick and elegant Christmas Cards. I created two options featuring this set for my On Stage card swaps. I used the Pine Bough embossing folder for the background on the cards. The first card is done in Emerald Envy with a Christmas Tree ornament. For the second version I choose Dapper Denim and Gold Foil paper. I used the White Shimmer paper for the ornaments on both cards to add a little extra sparkle. The cards go together quick and easy but create a fabulous Holiday... Continue reading

Hi Stampers, At my September Stamp Camp our Technique was Ghosting! ghost·ing [goh-sting] noun: the appearance of a ghost or secondary image, especially one appearing as a white shadow. A spooky technique called for a spooky fun card. Ghosting is a very simple technique. First you stamp a solid image (like the Witch on this card) in Whisper White ink on Dark Card stock. Let is dry a bit. Then stamp over it, just slightly offset, with a color. For this card we used a tone on tone look with the Basic Gray ink. But it works great with other... Continue reading

Hi Stampers, I love the Birthday greeting in the Painter's Palette stamp set! For this card I added a little "artistic flair" by stamping the brush strokes randomly down the side of Whisper White card stock. I wasn't sure of the color combo when I started but I think it's now one of my FAVORITES! Sweet Sugar Plum, Perfect Plum, and Blushing Bride are a trendy but soft color combo! I added just a hint of Wink of Stella to the balloon to give it a sparkle. Continue reading

Hi Stampers! I LOVE a pretty ombré background on a card! The Layering Love stamp set is a perfect compliment to this beautiful technique! For this card I used Peekaboo Peach, Tangerine Tango, Flirty Flamingo, and Watermelon Wonder. I wet down a piece of Watercolor Paper and then used the Aqua Painter to brush on the ink, working my way down the paper strip and blending the colors together. I love the way the banner came out! I punched the bottom with the Banner Triple Punch and topped the banner with a Bow clip. I kept most of the card... Continue reading
