Who I am: Sometimes blonde, sometimes brunette, more and more grey - born and raised in PA; overweight outside but a skinny person on the inside! I like to read, knit, bead, decorate, listen to music and be with my family. I do not like cleaning, doing laundry, grocery shopping or people who lie. When I grow up I want to be anything but an ACCOUNTANT! Maybe I'll be a gardener or artist...someday...when I grow up. What I love being is a mom and wife and daughter and sister and friend and now new grandmother (mimi).
Interests: knitting, gardening, soccer, sewing, spending time with my family

well as I am pretty sure none of my relatives read your blog I'll share - I have been knitting a ton of small projects - hats, scarves, mitts, cowls, etc. Every one of the first cousins will go home with something. Next year it will be the second cousins. My family is pretty obsessed with my knitting - always asking to see pictures of projects - and since I really do not need anything handknit right now I am sharing the love.

I agree Karen - if I put it on my calendar then I make time for it. A coffee date with my hubby at 6 am on Saturday on our deck was on both our calendars. Now I just need to reschedule time for yoga.

Mine were planted in the calm before the storm late Sunday afternoon. I keep saying I am done but then something catches my eye.

I heard the cookies were good - I didn't eat any as they were not gluten-free. But I did eat GF apple fries that my son made - yummy!

Susan - our deck is fairly new to our house - and we use it a lot! We eat dinner out there nearly every night in the summer. Make time to relax a bit next weekend!

actually the house was not in too bad of shape after 30+ people in and out on Sunday. Luckily the weather was wonderful so most of the time we were outside. I had the kitchen all cleaned up before I went to bed on Sunday evening. And since my house is teeny tiny it is easy to clean!

Love the turquoise door. This is actually a color I am trying to add to my kitchen. My inspiration color is from a McCoy Pottery teapot/creamer/sugar set I inherited from my great-grandfather. But what I really love in your room is the necklace holder. Any tutorials on how you made this - or did you purchase it?

Thanks Bonny! Same thing happened to me the day before. Last night I was already in pjs and grabbed my phone and stood in the middle of the street to get these! Sent via the Samsung GALAXY S®4, an AT&T 4G LTE smartphone

Dried apple slices are very easy to do...either with a dehydrator or just on regular oven racks. Go for it!
