I am thrilled to have a pretty good feel for who I am, and to still be learning exactly who I am.
Interests: Animated movies, The Muppets, old Saturday Night Live, nature commentary writing, Scrabble, baseball (Yay Tigers!), and everything edible (except maybe lima beans or apple yogurt). I have just recently discovered the tv show "Creature Comforts" from the British Studio that did Wallace and Gromit, etc. Love that show!

This is it, folks - the only pretty things in our teensy yard of a zillion plants and bugs: BUT! Coming soon? A small deck - built by the Reeds of Prune Ridge. At least, that's the plan. Continue reading

Below are some pics from my vacation week when most of the seeding and planting happened. The mystery of what will work this year and what won't is part of what I love about gardening. There are hope and promise... Continue reading

Olive rather enjoys lying around, doing very little - especially when there are Sunshines to be absorbed! I've been a lazy blogger of late, but get ready! I've not been lazy on the gardening fronts, and the updates are about... Continue reading

I'm itching for spring right about now - which seems completely unreasonable given the strange and sort of lovely weather we had through the fall and for most of this winter so far. Even so, my psyche seems to be... Continue reading
