My younger sister recently stopped dying. I was not a fan of this decision, since I feel it ages me, as her older sister (and it's all about MEEEEE!) but after an awkward month or two it looks very nice. She has dark brown hair and I've always loved the salt & pepper. As for graying gracefully, I remember seeing a makeover show where a woman had salt & pepper gray and simply wanted *less* gray, so they only covered some of it. Technically, I believe it was kind of like getting lowlights. That might be something to consider. But you know what would be really cool? Dye your hair gray. All of it. Then the new growth will come in with some brown, and you'll be browning instead of graying. Freak people out!

My sister-in-law's staircase is very much like yours, except that there is no bookcase there. No railing. Nothing. Just a sheer drop to a wood floor several feet below. I don't know what the builders were thinking. Maybe they hated children. I don't even know how it could meet building codes, come to think of it. Anyway, you know those things that go in the back of an SUV to keep dogs from climbing from the cargo area into the seat? I wonder if they make them in house sizes. Just a thought.

I had my annual yesterday too. Good times. I like it when I have to fill out the form that asks what I'm using for birth control and I'm all... um... my own body? Does that count? Anyway. I don't know which doctor you went to, but I do know that one clinic in OKC is *significantly* less expensive than the other one, if you decide to get up on that horse again. (Or at least that was true when I was going through the shit, lo these many years ago). Oh, and the less expensive one was the one that was successful for me. And yes, totally go for the acupuncture and whatnot.
