This last Sunday we made the most of the illusive sunshine, silenced the competing demands of cooking and gardening and took ourselves out for the afternoon - fun. I even fitted some knitting in, I'm working on Posy's Kina. I've... Continue reading

Go for it, undoing a bind off really isn't that awful, it's a shame to 'waste' a lovely sweater just for the sake of a hem - good luck. I'd hate to be reminded of my forgot fails that I've stashed under, on top of and behind things - ugh!

I've been racing along on this cardigan which is Peggy Sue by Linda Wilgus, I'm really enjoying it. I'm enjoying the wool that is very sheepy and fun to knit. I'm thinking of doing three quarter length sleeves with a... Continue reading

Oh it's very pretty, it looks very calming and cool. It's good to hear what a difference it'll make to you all, and that Toby is so happy with it too. It'll be lovely to see pictures when you've got it furnished.

love that little duck almost blending in with the snow. This is our moment http://familyontour.typepad.com/family_on_tour/2013/03/this-moment.html I've been especially heavily 'taxed' in the kitchen this week, I think that the snow is making them hungrier than usual
