I usually have to put a rubberband in first, loop ribbon through that, and then tie. Otherwise you are right, darn thing falls out.

The house gets a lot of natural light, but we are installing a hugh lighted chandelier in the foyer to keep it from being too dark. We painted the ceiling in that room as well, and I love it, but definitely makes a difference in how light bounces around the room.

I haven't tried either of those, but palladian blue is on the same strip as Wythe. I bet it would be beautiful and soft on the porch ceiling. We had a tough time trying to find something that wasn't too washed out next to the grey but also didn't compete with it. If I was just doing just the porch I probably would have gone with palladian.
I *think* robins nest might be a little bright once it is outside.
