Hello I'm also a Stephanie who loves to play with paper. I too need to be a better blog reader and stop lurking and try and contribute to the conversation.

I <3 West WIng and am thrilled that Netflix has the entire series now. The one that jumps to my mind is the Stakhouse Filibuster. "My question is in 22 parts and might take quite a while. Perhaps you might like to sit and have some water while I ask it."

I loose it at the final scene from the Help with the little girl crying after Aibileen. Up gets me every time. Both the opening montage and then when Carl looks through the scrapbook. In fact my hubby was a mess in the theater when we saw it. I asked him why he was so emotional, he answered, "She's a red head and she scrapbooks, how am I not supposed to be effected by that?!" :-)

So well said. I used to love it when someone would be-little my plans because they were so "busy!" Case in point-- I was attending an all day crop and the conversation with said individual went like this: Very Busy Person: How long is this event? Me: 10-10 Very Busy Person: That's 12 hours Me: Yes it is Very Busy Person: Well it must be nice to have that much time on your hands Me: Yes, yes it is. I don't do it often so it is nice to choose to take the time once in a while to enjoy something I love. That was the part she didn't understand. You can choose to be so very busy all the time or you can choose to enjoy things and perhaps let the beds remain unmade or the dishes stay in the sink for a day.

Thanks so much. I also noticed on a video that you had a 4 up template where you drop in the cards with the crop marks. I think I might grab that. I need to learn how to play with PSE so I can try and create a 6 up template. Thanks again!

Thanks so much for the great tips. I'm diving into Project Life this year. I've found lots of fun digital elements that I want to use this year. I wanted to know the best way to place the journaling cards onto a single sheet of 8.5 x 11 cardstock to print. I figure I should be able to print 6 up on a page. I found one PDF that was so nicely set up that all I had to do was cut .25"from the sides and an inch from the top and bottom and then cut the cards in even pieces. How can I set up a similar canvas on my own in PSE?

A friend and I are going to make snowflakes today. I figured, I have lots of scrapping tools so lets have some fun with this project. Some other ideas I've seen for the acts of kindness that look fun are: pay for the car behind you in the drive-thru tape quarters to a parking meter tape coins to a gumball machine leave a dollar with a note in the toy section of the dollar store for a child to find Have a fun time with your girls

I love the viewmaster shape but, I'm having a hard time locating the SVG file on Lori Whitlock's site.

I'll check the license of the file and let you know if I'm able to sell it or the SVG I created from it. It appears that Digicute now longer has an Etsy storefront.

I love the American President and I was a huge fan of West Wing. I have almost all the seasons on DVD. Perhaps I should bust those out the next time I want some company while scrapping.

No worries, I took the car to a carwash and the trunk was vacuumed in the process. The car has since been "retired."
