"The Justice Department has essentially given up trying to make anyone accountable for the crisis." Does anybody really believe that there are no bankers registered as Democrats ?
The writers' strike made the schedule for "24" erratic and viewers got used to watching "2 & 1/2 Men" and "Big Bang" in the same time slot.

Maybe operatives at the CIA could claim that they raped their al Qaeda prisoners .. oh .. didn't they sort of rape the prisoners at abu Ghraib prison ... and they took pictures, just like Roman Polanski did with the 13 year old. Now we have the proof that abu Ghraib prison really wasn't that bad .. they were just trying to do their "Roman Polanski" thing.

The sad truth, that seems to be present starting with Rev. Wright's Trinity Church through to Rep. Waters, is that the Black Community seems to have the biggest problem with race. Most of the remainder of the nation has "moved on" but the Black Community, on a per cap basis, has the largest population that keeps racial hatred alive. Worst of all, it seem to be a racial paranoia, rather than being based in any ongoing repression.

How is this bad for POTUS Obama ? After all the effort Obama went to to apologize and such, now he is basically called a fool for continuing in Afghanistan since UBL is now (supposedly) dead and given that Obama just appointed the “chief assassin” as US commander in Afghanistan, I sure to the Arab TV viewers, he is now considered to be either stupid or under the control of Dick Cheney. Meanwhile the Darth Cheney myth grows.

"We don't want the small, timid, slash and burn, negative campaigning of the past." (Josh Hafenbrack, "Obama Barack Obama Calls For New Political Spirit During South Florida Campaign Swing," [Fort Lauderdale, FL] Sun Sentinel, 3/26/07). Using Obama's standard, does this make Wes Clark large and/or brave ?

Now this is funny. I've always wanted to see somebody give a Congressional committee a body slam .. and this is about as close as it will ever get.

These Copperheads like Reid and Pelosi continue to push on with their "Valladigham platform". One hundred and forty years ago, they would have been just as happy to leave the Negroes in slavery in exchange for "peace" as they are today to leave anyone not as white or privileged as themselves in tyranny.

This is all part of General Sanchez's nightmare of incompetent strategic leadership that includes Capitol Hill. There has been a glaring, unfortunate, display of incompetent strategic leadership within our national leaders. As a Japanese proverb says, “action without vision is a nightmare” there is no question that America is living A nightmare with no end in sight. Since 2003, the politics of war have been characterized by partisanship as the republican and democratic parties struggled for power in washington. National efforts to date have been corrupted by partisan politics that have prevented us from devising effective, executable, supportable solutions. At times, these partisan struggles have led to political decisions that endangered the lives of our sons and daughters on the battlefield. The unmistakable message was that political power had greater priority than our national security objectives. Overcoming this strategic failure is the first step toward achieving victory in Iraq - without bipartisan cooperation we are doomed to fail. There is nothing going on today in Washington that would give us hope. - General Sanchez

I think many folks were spun by the AP report that misreports (lies about) the General's comments. General Sanchez's nightmare isn't about the conduct of the war, per se, but rather about the nightmare of incompetent strategic leadership that includes Capitol Hill. German soldiers have caused international outrage after posing with a human skull in Afghanistan. .. The publication of the photos caused a storm of protest, overtheshadowing the announcement that more German peacekeepers will serve across the world, after years of Berlin taking a cautious military role. This The New Republic story sounds like a montage of sorts, combining multiple stories.

Responding to the main quote at the beginning .. The Clinton Administration didn't need a bunch of left-leaning bloggers to spread the administration's line because they had many MSM reporters, especially Eleanor Clift at Newsweek, who were more than happy to take it an run with it. The truth is that if the Clinton Administration was still running today, they would be doing their best to subvert the left-leaning bloggers because even they won't get down on their knees nearly as much as Monica.

The "N" word isn't racist, but does represent a lessening. Middle class Blacks will be the first to say to Whites .. "we have our n.gg.rs, and you have your's".
