happy thursday, everyone! here's a cool thing to do: using stamps instead of a pen to mimick doodles. why not? sometimes the inspiration doesn't come easy and i find stamps are a good starting point. some stamps are fabulously designed... Continue reading

Thank you, Leone. I can't take credit for the inspiration as this was a class taught to me but I thoroughly enjoyed the process and will certainly apply it to more of my own creations. Thank you so much for visiting me here and have a wonderful day!

Hi Diane! I made a video of my set up in 2011 and here's the link: http://youtu.be/ycIx1JPNUEA Since then, however, I have moved to a temporary location and I am using the same camera (an old Panasonic HDC-SD20 with a 16x optical zoom) but it is now hooked up to a light boom that extends over my work surface. I will probably use the same set up when I move again in August because it is working for me. HTH. Have a wonderful week!

Yes, it is a fun way to practice lettering and you know, nobody has to see it... unless you decide to share it with the rest of the world like I did. LOL I don't mind sharing my mistakes because that's what makes me grow and push myself to practice some more. And I'm not aiming for perfection ; that's not the end result I'm looking for. I'm just enjoying the process. Have a lovely evening! CC

Hi Rachel! Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting. This picture was supplied as class material from the 48 Weeks Online class by Donna Downey. Unfortunately I can't distribute that picture but I would suggest you go on Pinterest and seach using "women" "vintage" "old photo". I'm sure you'll find something similar and maybe even the same picture. Best of luck and thanks for stopping by! CC
