Hi Cheryl! If you put a very thin layer of frosting on the cake, and let it set in the refrigerator, until the thin layer of frosting is cold and hardened a bit, it becomes a crumb coat - a protective layer that keeps crumbs from getting loose so when you put on the final frosting layer, there wont be any crumbs in it! This is such a yummy cake and much easier to make than it might sound, I hope you give I a try! Nan Sent from my iPad
