Hi Regan! So sorry about that, I had vanilla on my brain I guess but there isnt any vanilla in the recipe..but I suppose you could substitute the vanilla for the brandy or brandy flavoring if you wanted. I hope you give these a try, they really are good, I have loved them with crackers and cheese, especially Brie cheese! Merry Christmas to you! Nan Sent from my iPad

I keep mine in the freezer so if there is any bits of cookie dough left in the cloth it wont turn rancid. When I remove it from the freezer, any flour bits that were in the cloth just fall right off. Its just easier! Merry Christmas! Nan Sent from my iPad

Hi! I didnt use a pattern and you dont need one either! Super easy - cut 5 1/2-inch squares, then cut in half on the diagonal, making two triangles. Sew two triangles together to form a square and then sew those squares together, making a pin-wheel pattern. Or make up your own way to sew the half-square triangles together - endless possibilities! Good luck! xo, Nan Sent from my iPhone

Hi Deborah! Thanks for the comment and advise! I always use starch when pressing shirts and some other clothing but I never use it on quilts! Would kind of defeat the purpose of having a nice soft Quilt to wrap up in!! Good to know about cornstarch attracting moths! Makes total sense to me! Thanks so much! xo, Nan Sent from my iPad
