The bowl situation really sucks. I like Bowden, wish him well. And he did give Miami the home/home series to help save the program back in the day.
But giving FSU a bowl bid they didn't earn is BS.

I admit Shannon has his faults. But this game isn't one of them. The first priority of any QB is to protect the football.

footballfreak40 is the voice of reason here. The Canes are improving week by week, getting more consistent. Canes are not where they need to be yet, but getting there.
I see no reason to disrespect any other program. Iowa and Cincinatti play in BCS conferences. Boise and TCU would like to play tougher schedules, but cannot get most programs to schedule them. You can only play who is on your schedule.
BTW, SOS for the Gators is #6, Iowa #3, Canes #10. Miami's signature win is GaTech, Iowa's is Penn St.
