Number One, say it isn't so!

One more comment from me on this topic (and not to be too weird, I hope; but, then again, isn’t everybody weird?).
Anyway, when I was a little kid, I and my younger sister used to have the same dream. But we didn’t know this until years later when we started talking about it. In the dream, I’m a young boy and I’m dressed in clothes from the 1800’s. I’m running from my two sisters, one younger and one older, across an open field. They finally catch me and the older sister grabs me and starts tickling me while the younger sister laughs. When my actual sister of today and I started relating to each other about this dream we each had, we each started telling the other what came next. It was strange, to say the least. My sister, in her version of the dream, was one of the girls. She’s not sure which. We've wondered sometimes, since then, if there really is anything to this past life stuff.
Man, what the hell did you start with this post anyway, Wil?

xkcd recently did a cartoon about dreams that humorously sums up just how weird and wonderful the whole dreaming process is, and while I appreciated it, I didn't grok until this morning. Have you ever had a dream that was so real, the emotions you experienced in it stayed with you after you awok...
So true that dreams are strange. So are memories. I have a memory (or at least I think it is) from my early childhood days. I'm in the wilderness of New England sitting around a campfire with Native Americans. It's a celebration of some sort, or so I think it is. Only, it doesn't feel like modern day; it feels like hundreds of years ago. But at the same time, it feels like a memory. And I have no idea where this image comes from.
