I just love this photo of your girls. I had the same Holly Hobby print framed in my room as a little girl. It is most definately the small moments in life that turn out to be the most memorable and important. Consider yourself blessed that you know this. I too can relate to the feeling of hearing "his" key in the door. Everyday bliss. ;) liz

I have an almost 14 year old son and a 5 year old daughter. My daughter still "likes" me and thinks I'm "cool"...her brother on the other hand frequently rolls his eyes and avoids being seen with me in public as much as possible. He tells me "mom you're sooooo lame". I'm hoping he will come around once he's out of these prickly years.... ;) liz

Glad to hear the laundry is staying organized. Its a huge and THANKLESS job. Love the idea for peanutbutter...something I've got to try. Enjoy the rest of the week;) liz

Sounds like my kind of weekend.....and you are so right....if you can get laundry under control, then all good flows from that...for a little while anyway....;) liz

I love Erin's point....You must have a time when "work" ends and "family" begins. Sometimes when your work is at home, that's just the problem. Multi-tasking through life will take its toll... try to schedule down time...when your kids are little, you must surrender to it and "try" to go with the flow...easier said than done.

I completely understand your struggles. The most important thing is that you work through it. Making the bed is a great idea....makes it less likely that you'll jump back in and pull the covers over your head. Chin up.....it always gets better...doesn't it?
