*The power to credential people for tournaments lies in the hands of the tournaments' public relations/communications people. They want the biggest bang for there buck so to speak. So if they feel a blog will give the tournament a lot of "play" they'll credential them. Again not as many media outlets can send reporters to cover every event due to budgets, and again "blogs" pick up the slack.*
I hate to just say "this!" but that's really all I can think of to agree and reiterate this point.

That's possibly the happiest I've been watching tennis since, well, the last time Dinara played well. So.....it's been a while.
Tennis Channel said exactly what I was thinking. She wasn't necessarily getting all her shots in and it wasn't pretty at times, but she was finally going for it. She slammed in a couple returns that impressed the shit out of me. She didn't play scared and played more aggressive than I've seen since before her injury.
And that reaction. It's been a looooong time coming. Warm fuzzies.
