You cannot beat FSU by scoring only 14 points and leaving your defense out there all night. You cannot afford to be trailing lessor foes through most of the game. The D is not the issue here.

Say what you want about the D but you can't beat FSU by scoring only 14 points!

If UM was in the top 5 your comment might make sense but as usual you showed your stupidity.

Whipple should have got playing time last week in the 4th as his inexperience and lack of playing time is hurting the team right now.

Canes Fan - even if all the above were true (I'm not saying you are wrong) none of then guarantee elite status in the NCAA. Actually I do disagree with one point... J12 was never a valid Heisman contender - that was premature hype.

Canes Fan - "The Miami Hurricanes under Randy Shannon’s leadership will once again be ranked at the highest levels of college football." Can you offer any real facts that would back up that theory of yours? Just saying it doesn't make it so.

I think Hocutt's motive is to make big money of off marquee games and while nothing is wrong with that, it is kind of like throwing your team under the bus. There is a reason that the schools with deep pockets choose cream puff schedules.

Quinton that's what journalists are supposed to do. You've got your head so far up there that your taste buds are in the loop.

EddieCane Said... "It's Randy Shannon. Didn't anybody hear RS halftime interview? He said that he doesn't push the fire in his players because they lose fundamentals. WTF is that?" Perhaps he's referring to the killshot tackling. These playesrs have no fundamentals just a lot swelled heads about their abilities.

If you want to play the "if" fantasy and pretend Bradford was the difference, then you also have to include the injured Cane players. safeties Jojo Nicholas and Randy Phillips, TE Richard Gordon, FB Pat Hill, DL Dyron Dye, DB JoJo Nicolas, DB Randy Phillips and DE Adewale Ojomo who would have easily nullified any difference Bradford would have brought to the game (if any). As for only winning by 1 they probably could have gone and got points in the dying minutes but didn't need to.
