You have to realize something about Jim Hendry: he makes a ton of stupid decisions. It ranges from getting Aaron Miles to breaking up a 97 win team. He's ruined so much with all of these barbaric, back-loaded contracts, it makes me and every other Cub fan sick.
He does have a few tricks up his sleeve though (Garciaparra, Lilly, Harden). But still, there are more bad moves than good that he's made.
Hopefully we won't have to deal with him much longer.
