I totally agree! It's ok to lift but just make sure to give a shout out if possible :) Great pages!

I love to scraplift when it is not for a dt assignment. Especially when I feel stuck, but I always give credit and let people know where my inspiration came from! I have a whole Pinterest board called Scrapbook Inspiration containing layouts I hope to scraplift or at least be inspired by. And truthfully, a lot of times I end up more inspired by then actually creating a direct lift. The layout on this blog post was a cross between a lift and being inspired And the layout on this post started out to be a lift but then became more inspired by :)

I totally know what you mean about meals. Our typical week looks like a dinner I cook on Sunday, but then Monday, tuesday and Wednesday when Mike is gone, I usually rotate pizza, Panera, and breakfast for dinner. We are in a rut! But if the kids eat, I am happy :)

Darling card, Lisa! :)
This is such a great list! I am sad to say that there are not many bookstores left around here. There is a really great one I stumbled on when I was taking Erin to gymnastics last summer. Made me so happy. And then we have two Left Bank books here and a Barnes and Noble or two. I like little bookshops though a la "You've Got Mail" :)

Ok - so I already have my posts scheduled for the rest of January (I only blog 2 days a week, 3 at the most.) My post for Thursday is on much needed date night ideas. So won't be doing BYH this month. But totally love and related to several items on your post today and just wanted to comment on a few things. Same here with the dentist! For some reason I have been putting it off and putting it off. Need to suck it up and schedule the appointment. Teaching - I taught preschool and kindergarten but became a full time SAHM when my husband started traveling four nights a week for work when my daughter was born six years ago. It was just adding a lot of unneeded stress to our lives to have me work outside the home. But now that both kids are in school full time, people are always asking when I am going to start teaching again. And I just don't know. I don't want to work full time while my husband is traveling so much. The things you miss about it are the same for me. And the things you mentioned you don't miss, totally get it! My solution is that I am subbing part time at my kids school and that is slowly getting me there. And I have learned that there is nothing wrong for me personally with not wanting to work full time or even part time right now. Even though for some reason society often makes us feel like a failure if we don't hold down a full time job and try to raise a family. And letting kids be kids. Well, I wish society would let this happen more as well. Too much trying to make kids grow up too fast! So frustrating. Cooking - don't like it here either, but it's a necessary evil. :) Trying to find more new recipes that my picky eaters will eat is challenging! And recently a friend told me I worry too much about what others think. And she was right. Need to stop worrying about the opinions of others so much when it just doesn't matter what they think! Have a beautiful day!!

Fun!!! And you were here in St. Louis for speech/debate? I have the same question as Sheri? Curious about what you did and saw here. I went with Evan's class to the state capitol last year. It was a two hour drive (on a nice bus with a bathroom) and I really ended up enjoying it. They also took an architectural walking tour of downtown St. Louis that was really interesting. I go on a lot of field trips with my kids!

I will say last year I set one healthy living goal a month to focus on and it really made a difference. I wasn't overwhelmed with trying to make too many changes at once and was more successful. Maybe something like that with your list would help. Choose one routine to really focus on for a week or month at a time. Otherwise I am all over the place. In fact, my OLW this year is FOCUS (lol) I think you have great routine ideas and I although my kids are past the preschool and nap age (6 & 11) I still find routine is so important for us or we are just out of control! And isn't it so hard to make time for yourself. I am the same at night. So tired or just messing around on the computer. That is one area I probably need a good routine for!

Seriously, "I Will Wait" is one of my all time favorite songs! I could listen to it over and over and never, ever get sick of it! :)

This made me smile. I mean my youngest is in Kindergarten and my oldest is only ten, so I have a ways to go. But man it's going fast! Last year dh and I took a little anniversary trip and let's just say I did not feel one bit guilty about having that time to reconnect :)
