He better know what he is getting in to. Tennessee always has a good defense. Tough to fill the shoes of Monte and Chavis before him. If Dooley fails as a head coach, Joe could be looking for work in a year.

Congrats Canes fan! You win the "my team is on national tv" trophy! How proud you must be.

B-51 needs to get healthy before he starts freelancing as an offensive blocker. Who is the Gators Javier Estopinan this season. Is it Justin Trattou? Trattou will be unavailable this Saturday (bicep). -jo- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Yeah but it would sure be nice to see Spike light up Curran in a couple weeks in Jax!

The Bucs used to put Warren Sapp in on goal line situations as a tight end to block. B-51 could be that guy.

I like it! How about putting Spikes and Tebow in the backfield together with the same scenario as Haden? They would dominate!

Jo -A.J. Green is UGA's receiver. A.J. Jones is UF's linebacker.

huh? We have parked in lot 13 before 9:30 for the past 7 years.

Of course lane is up to his shady ways. Hopefully these recruits (WR's especially) will realize that Tennessee doesn't have a QB that can get them the ball.

Real classy. Your father, John, would not approve! I heard they gave the girl her sign back though.

#2 is high comedy but what would make it better is if every player on the sidelines did so.

Interesting DR that the Bucs second round pick was a joke. Who was it?

OAR, my point was if the problem was a difference of opinion on who the QB should be then why did they offer Jags the QB coach position?

If the Bucs were offering him the QB coach position do you really think that was the cause of the problem???????????

Can we get Deckerhoff to shout out "Fire those Coordinators!"

Maybe Gruden will hire him to set lunch appointments.

Someone said on Twitter that the Bucs offered to keep him on as QB coach and he declined.

Dspkable-who was Olson OC for previously? Posted by: G. Michael Reynolds | September 03, 2009 at 10:51 AM ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ St. Louis

Definitely not the QB situation. Freeman will be the starter by midseason regardless.
So the assistants he hired, do they go too? This team is soooo f'ed up!

When you fire your OC a week before the season starts it is easy to predict a last place finish. Chan Gailey anyone?

Oh and Coop is definitely a better receiver than A.H. A tight end will NOT lead the team in receptions this year. second is very possible.

It's not about the Heisman or Brantley getting reps. It's about winning games...convincingly. Florida has a relatively weak schedule on paper. They just can't afford to have it come down to pollsters choosing between several one-loss teams (if UF does indeed lose a game).

I'm curious as to why you don't see Coop as a legit downfield threat? He is the most well-rounded receiver on the team and he is as or close to as fast as Deonte. I think he will be Tim's go-to guy this year BEFORE Aaron.

D Block - You must be thinking of Will Allen from the Super Bowl. This is the guy that lost his job to a rookie. He is not that good.
