Why can't Lebron show some respect to his opponents? Go to the other player, shake his hand and say him "Well done!" That must be very hard;-)
Has the Magic opened eyes to James Jones?
Had a chance Monday to speak with James Jones after he presented a Miami Heat scholarship at Northwestern High. Among the topics discussed was how the Orlando Magic's 3-point-a-thon against LeBron James and the Clevela...
Yes I'm really happy that we have Riley. He's a great GM. Do you think that Dorrell will get another chance this year?

Why would anybody trade Wade for James??? It wouldn't make the Heat better. We should build around Wade. It's his team. Hopefully Beasley will become the player we all expect. And then we can look at 2010 add a SF and a good center.

Beasley should be our starting PF next year. Let's see what he can do as a starter.
Deconstructing the Heat-Shaq deal
While listening to ESPN's commentary on Friday's Lakers-Nuggets finale, Jeff Van Gundy noted that if the cap and tax limit L.A. to a significant bid for only one of its two prime free-agent forwards this summer, he would spend the money on Trevor Ariza. ...
I predicted a 4:2 for the Magic. That feels good. Great job Orlando!

Denver vs. Lakers tonight. Hope the Lakers can win a game in Denver. And I hope I'll see more of Bynum this time. It's unbelievable that he only played 3 minutes in the 2nd half of game 2.
Draft bored: Mocking where the Heat currently stands
A few years back, the Heat paraded virtually all of its draft prospects in front of the media. So we got to ask D.J. Strawberry about his famous baseball dad, Glen Davis about his "Big Baby" moniker, Taurean Green about his local roots. This year, though, the wall of sile...
How about this trade?
Haslem and Jones for Kaman?

The Cavs didn't have a close game so far. So maybe they'll get a little nervous when the Magic can win a game in Cleveland and they're 1-1 after 2 games.
The lottery one year later: Beasley yet to be embraced
It seems like it has been more than a year, but that's all it has been since the Heat found itself in the lottery spotlight. Tuesday, that spotlight will belong to Sacramento Kings or Washington Wizards or anyone else who lucks into the top pick in the random-but-weighted NBA Draft l...
Who do you think will reach the NBA finals?
Cavaliers vs.Magic 2:4
Lakers vs. Nuggets 4:3

"Would you guys trade Jermaine O'Neal and Michael Beasley for Lamar Odom [S&T] and Andrew Bynum?"
Yes I would do it, if Bynum stays healthy. He's one of the best centers in the league and he's only 21 years old.

Turiaf would be great for the Heat. I like this guy.
Could the Mavericks provide answers for Heat?
Could the Heat possibly rise from the ashes that are the Mavericks? The swiftness of Dallas' demise against Denver has to make one wonder about the futures with the franchise of Jason Kidd and Josh Howard, players who ha...
Yes I mean Dwight Howard and Lebron James. But I would go with Howard because he gives DWade a presence in the paint. Why do you choose Lebron?

The Beasley situation reminds me of a Guns'n'Roses song. "All we need is just a little patience." Let's figure out what this kid can do when he has the starting role.

How about Brendan Haywood in 2010? Just to round out the rotation.

First of all, I'm not buying what I heard driving around today on the radio regarding how the Heat benefited by not having to go through what the Hawks are enduring against the Cavaliers. Apples and oranges. The Hawks are...
Sorry that was my fault. I thought Curry is a FA. I don't want to pay him the money he gets now. Just want to sign him for 1 year and a minimum deal.

Prince would fit in well too. Guess he's a better defender than Jefferson.
How about Brendan Haywood? He had a good season before he got injured. He's a FA in 2010.
Uh, Toronto could trade Bosh elsewhere
Just to clear some misconceptions: By rule, if the Raptors decide they cannot re-sign Chris Bosh next summer and come to the conclusion that a trade would be mutually beneficial for both Bosh and the team, Toronto is not obligated to trade him to the Heat. ...
I saw that Eddie Curry is a free agent this year. I know it sounds silly but should we give him a 1 year deal? Maybe he's motivated again.

Maybe Richard Jefferson. But there ain't no center available in 2010 who would help our Heat. Camby is too old.

If Beasley is our future PF why should we go after Amar'e or Bosh? Wouldn't it be better to get a real C and a SF?
