*smile* Thanks for that, I guess i hide it well. My ideal wight is 130ish and i'm at 160 right now and it's All around my midsection. I just saw that Becky Higgins has a NEW 365 album kit out called Project Life, i'm thinking of getting it to help on the organization part of the project and then i will only have to worry about the picture taking and the journaling parts. Good Luck!! I'm thinking that the C2F should happen around the end of Feb. beginning of Mar. when most of us drop off the weight loss resolution bandwagon, but i would jump on anytime!

Would love to join you on your Commit2Fit Challenge again this year! Your challenge was the impetus to my shedding 25 pounds, but i gained 5 or over the holidaze, and need to shed another 35 lbs. I'm taking the BPS classes- Happy New You and Wellness Journey as well as a BootCamp Challenge via Sparkpeople, but i realy liked the C2F. Ugh! i would really like to do a 365 photo project, but fear that i would get to caught up in the madness of life to remeber to take a picture every day ( by the end of January). However, my Word for 2010 is CHANGE so maybe just maybe the winds they are a changing. Happy New Year!

How devastating for your sister and her family. Our neighbor had to do the same just last week with his black lab. He was beside hisself with grief. It's very fortunate that you were able to take such great photos.

This was the perfect way to start my fat removal campaign! I was able to shed the first of many unwanted pounds and implement some useful/healthful habits. I got rid of 11 pounds and some 34 inches! and i'm able to wear some clothes that i hadn't been able to. I also found this awesome web site ( SparkPeople.com ) where i found a boat load of information, support, and motivation, as well as tools (like food and fitness tracking) to keep me on my journey. I'm sorry to see this challenge end, but very happy to have gained some very useful insights/habits. Thank You, Paula for putting in the time and effort to make this challenge happen.

This works Great for this weekend. I'm heading out to the Oregon Country Fair and i'm working in the Fruit Booth. We sell organic fresh fruit, so i will be eating quite a bit of Fruit!! this past week has been hard for me. I think cause i'm a little distracted by getting ready for the fair and working and having a 7 year old out of school, ( which by the way burn in an arson fire last week). I only managed 29 points this past week. I've been reverting on the H2O.

This week's challenge will be easy to follow, we only buy whole grain product/flours and such. My points or this past week: 25 I'm down one more pound and 2.25 inches and 5mm of fat. My clothes are fitting better and i'm able to get into some i have been able for a while. Thanks so much for putting this Challenge together. It has been what i needed to kick my weight shedding ( i was going to say loss, but i keep reminding myself that i have no intention of every finding That again!! LOL ) into gear.

This should be sorta easy. I've been eating half of an avocado with ground turkey cooked with taco seasoning on a cup of spinach mixed with a cup of mixed lettuce leafs for lunch or a can of sardines mixed with a little dijon mustard and a cup of salad greens or tuna ( i canned it last year in it's own juices ) mixed with a little olive oil, capers and dijon eaten on a salad. or i have a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese with a tsp. of green olive pate and sesame seeds and some really yummy muligrain everything crackers - trans fat free. FYI in my soy protein drink i add a few cherries, 1/2 banana and a cup of spinach. ( I know sounds Yuck!, but you can't taste the spinach and i've get an extra serving of veggies.) I eat alot of tempeh or tofu with kale ( yum ) or on sandwiches - the tempeh NOT the tofu. We like to saute the tofu cubes in olive oil with sesame seeds, and a saltless seasoning and toss with steamed broccoli and whole wheat spagehetti and parmasean. You could do this with chicken instead of tofu as well. I've been eating at least one snack a day of Almonds with a few cranberries and 1/2 an apple, but now i will add some walnuts as well. As a rule we don't eat Trans Fat so i'm good on that. I also got 22 points this past week. Feeling better and stronger. And so far i've lost 5 lbs. and 12.75 inch. total.

This one i can do. have been doing it already. I really struggled with getting enough calories each meal and sometimes went over the carbs. by 1-2 grams. And i seem to flub big time with the water...actually the whole thing on the weekends. ( But i've been very mindful of each habit and still trying even if i've messed up along the way.) I managed to acquire 11 points just the same and i think i've lost some lbs. or inches will check tomorrow. I found this website that has been very helpful, supportative, motivational, and informative, especially with the tracking of my caloric input and output. Oh, and it's FREE! http://www.Sparkpeople.com

Paula, i just received your (generous) Surprise in the mail! Thanks you so much!! Grace can't wait to use it i think she's mixing some emergen-c up right now! ;) And as an aside: i'm finding that i'm not always getting in the 300 cal each meal, when trying to get the right amount of protein & carbohydrates. i mean i might be off 10-20 or so calories. is that okay?

i forgot to report my poinys for last week, managed a whole 7 points. i found it horder to get the water in with the mini meals. i guess the week before i just drank when i felt hungry! ;) even as i write i have 20 some odd oz. to slosh down. Today was good with the 10/30 protein-carb deal. And i've not lost any lb.age. :( (maybe a 1/2 inch or so? )

This Challenge is going to take some thought. I'm going to have to up my protein consumption. i might have to stock up on tempeh and tofu as snack options. They're already a staple at our house, but now i might need more. ( we do eat meat - chicken, turkey and fish, hardly any beef, sometimes buffalo.) okay gotta go do some menu planning.

This week has been tough for me as well. during the work week i did well with the small meals- had everything ready and packed to go with me. this weekend was harder. i think it's not having a schedule. i still ate 5 meals a day but not always on time, but not after 8:30pm. So i can't give myself the points, but i'm feeling good about the effort. i'm also having a hard time getting in all the h2o since Friday. have to buckle down on that.

Wow! i did P90 about 2 years ago and thought that that was intense. Love Tony though and am very scared to get P90X. i'm very impressed!

I very proud to say that i managed to get my 7 points this week. ( drinking H2O doen't come easy for me ) The weekend was the hardest and i wound up having to drink two travel mugs of green tea at the end of the day to get it all in. I've even inspired my 7 yr. daughter to up her H2O consumption. Now, i've gotta figure out the eating thing, i'm pretty sure i can do it though cause i do Love to snack! LOL Is this where we start keeping track of what we eat on the handouts you provided?
Hi Paula, are we supposed to be tracking what we eat starting now or are we not doing that yet??
Wow! i did it!! i got in 13 cups of H2O yesterday. It was definately a conscience effort. Wish i could have made the call. Wed. aren't great for me, but maybe our schedule will change for the summer. Okay off to drink and exercise.
