Oh dear Lord! Your pooch looks like Luck! She takes over the sofa in the same way...and then growls when the cat tries to make me move her...I refuse to get in the middle of those two...*laughs* The picture is precious.

I've been helping my mother in rescuing cats and dogs since late last year. My best friend from way back adopted one that my mother had been caring for. Felix has adopted me as his pet human for some reason, and picks on the dog, then jumps into my lap purring, thinking I will save him from her wrath. He also will pit the kids against one another so he gets the max amount of attention. He's cute, and aggravating all rolled into one. Their dog Luck, has a Dino Flintstone complex, and knocks me over with love every time I come to visit. She's just so cute, and will sneak up to you and hand you toys and sort of woof squeak to say she wants to play. SHe also has a way of sneaking stuff and looking at you so that you cannot be upset. My friends can't explain how they can be raging mad at her one minute, and toss her a Milk-Bone the next...dogs own the world, while cats manipulate their way into it... Very cute picture Wil!

Not sure if you consider them mainstream or not, but Baen books has had their baenfreelibrary for a while, and Eric Flint has done an amazing job of converting other authours contributions into a positive revenue maker. They offer one or two books from various series or stand-alones in the library. It used to be a text format. Now they offer it in multiple formats. I personally have bought 90% of the books they had for free in hardcopy format, as I plan to do with Wil's book here once the bills stop growling at me.

I wish that when I opened my wallet, moths didn't fly out of it. Will this be available on a permanent basis? I'd love to get it when my bills aren't trying to drown me.

Heh, I have the opposite issue. I have tons of vinyl(including Led Zeppelin), but my turntable is broken.

Wil, Thanks for the new music. My son asked me to play that video again...and again... I sure know what will be added to my collection of instrumentals in the near future... ...and it's all your fault! Thank you! --Lili

Wil, Is it strange that you mention this as I have the same revelation regarding technological advances and my son? I play records for him though, I can't quite seem to get rid of my records... It's rather strange that he knows almost as much about computers as I do...and he's only four! --Lili

Wil, I swear you've got some serious powers...how you do it, I don't know! Related, but not exactly: I call my dad today to hear The Immigrant Song playing in the background. I walk into my four year olds room to see him holding the CD that has the same song for me to put in his player. While cleaning, that song came on(I have my player set to random shuffle) as I was vacuuming the area rugs. Led Zeppelin rules greatly this day!

Hey Wil, Is it bad that I now want to play this with my four year old? He discovered my big bag o' dice while I was reading this post...I hear them spilling onto the table, and walk in to see what I already know he's up to. I start babbling like the geeky mom I am when I see him holding a pewter d20, then start to tell him the story of how I met one of the creators of D&D(only I didn't know it was him at the time), and got a surprise gift in the process. Thanks for the new memories in progress you have given me and my wee one. I owe you! --Lili
