Mando, I wouldn't expect to get linked to PFT anymore. Their short post on the story ends with the Grove quote about playing in the game. If Florio got pissed about the last story that vanished he's not going to be too happy about this. Comments are turned off since the site keeps crashing so good luck letting him know. God knows how many emails he's getting right now. http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/03/02/dolphins-likely-to-sign-grove/

I was thinking the same thing nj phin fan. I can't imagine they gave him that significant of a contract. Not much more than Berger at least. Seems to me all they're doing is creating a massive competition at the guards and center positions. Parcells is supposed to have such a relationship with Al Davis and the signing of two Raiders raises questions for me. Wilson was a no brainer from a skill standpoint. Grove on the other hand hasn't had a decorated career. Maybe his injuries are the kind that Parcells thinks he can manage in his strength and conditioning program. Either way I doubt it's significant cash.

Nice grab Armando. I'd be interested to listen in on a call between Parcells and Al Davis.

How are the New York Jets defense and yo mama alike? You give them a quarter and they'll let you score!

Jason Taylor has decided to stop playing football and become the first male member of the Pussycat Dolls.

Lets just hope JT doesn't feel there's an ax to grind with Parcells. He has said so much crap about the Jets over the years that I doubt he'd go there. The Pats on the other hand is a different story.

jhnblaze, I've been thinking about the public comment about not being interested in Coles and there must be something to it. I wouldn't be surprised is Coles and his agent were trying to tell other teams that the Dolphins were offering some dollar amount in an effort to create a market for him. Its the only explanation I can come up with that makes sense. The editor of profootballcentral got back in touch with me after I complained about the false Burnett rumor as well as the Marvin rumor. He insists they're true. If anyone wants to see the email let me know.

With us having 14-15 mil in cap room already where does that leave us? Is this a sign of something to come or was it just a move that had to be made?

I'm not responding to anyone that doesn't have a typekey account. Its so simple that a Jets fan could do it so get your name registered before the idiot does. Its the same interface they use on the SS blog, you can use the same log in on both. Click register, fill in 4 boxes and you're done. Do that and you won't have to worry about an impostor.

There's an Alienman impersonation. "I know more football" is a term the impersonator commonly uses. Once again, if you're going to do something then do it right. Come up with some different phrases. You've also got a dead give away when impersonating nj phin fan.

profootballcentral continues with their BS about Burnett. If you didn't see my post yesterday about them check out my comment on this article. 5 pages, 2 stories with no source, both involving the Dolphins with Burnett and Harrison. These guy are full of it.

Interesting, from Peter King's MMQB, 8. As free agents go, I think I would want a brittle Shawn Springs right now more than I'd want Leigh Bodden.
