Gorgeous wreath! It reminds me that I must get out and do some pruning, too.

Sometimes the juxtaposition of what is beginning and what is ending is too much for me. I'm sorry for your loss, and I love the photo of your little ballerina.

Those look good. Do I dare try them? I'm sure my daughter would love to help. Maybe some Sunday I'll give it a go.

I am not a fan of snow. However, seeing the joy it brings out in my children (almost) makes up for all the cold and inconvenience.

I love the edging. If I were at the class I would be thinking, "I wish I had a pillowcase like that."

The sheep story made me laugh. :) I hope Rebecca is feeling better soon - if she's not better already.

It looks good! Sadly for me, my hair resists all attempts at creating "mass", no matter how short. I've simply resigned myself to it.

I seem to mostly garden by trial and error. Clearly, I need to find an actual gardening mentor, because I fear I have more error than anything else lately.

I am Canadian, and I still need many layers so as not to be miserable. But then, I never claimed to be a light packer.

GORGEOUS boots. Gorgeous. I think I want some of my own. Too bad my birthday isn't until May.

What a gorgeous collection of squash! Here in Canada, immigrants say that they find Halloween to be the most puzzling of all holidays. Children dressed in costumes, asking for candy simply doesn't make sense to them.

Halloween has never been my favourite holiday, but my kids' enthusiasm has been infectious, and I've found that I enjoy it a little more every year. Happy Halloween!

I am currently reading Buddhism for Mothers. I've been slowly working on it for two years, but now I'm dedicated to finishing it, and I'm actually enjoying it.
