Hackaday just linked to an SMB sweater vest, saying "In an odd coincidence, not related to the 8 bit textiles above, we also found this Mario themed sweater. We wouldn’t wear it, but we’d love to see Wil Wheaton in it." :)

Ha! I totally had that HAL "completely operational" sound on my Amiga 2000 in middle school. Also had "I'm sorry, Dave- I'm afraid I can't do that" as an error sound, plus Ripley's "Get away from her you B1TCH!", Vader's "You are part- of the rebel alliance- and a traitor. Take her away!", and Sylvester the cat saying "Sheeesh! Look at the THIZE of the mouse!" (among other things) as part of my startup sound montage. Oh, man, when our local Amiga Users Group had a big meeting where we all built our own cheap audio digitizers (man, was that serial or parallel port?), that was the beginning of my sampling craze. I recorded REM, bits of TMNT, recordings of classmates saying their respective catch phrases, etc. I thought there was no way I'd ever fill up my whopping 48M hard drive, either! Granted, I had a couple hundred floppies filled with games & demos... Ahh, the good old days. :) PS- been reading Teh Blog for yeeears now, but never got around to the podcasts- just spent the last couple weeks going through all the MotF's & RFB's (oh crap- now there's a new one- I'm behind!), and I must say: Jolly good show, man. I've gotten more than a few odd glances from coworkers as I snicker not-so-quietly to myself, and an equally non-zero number of patient "uh-huh..."s as I probably rather over-enthusiastically tried to relay a couple of the jokes I thought were particularly funny, but which didn't come off quite as well in the abridged retelling, but man- they were so worth it. Kudos to you, good sir knight. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to look for the old man from Scene 27. PPS- I really hate to be That Guy, but.. oh well, I've already started, so I might as well finish now: genmaicha has a hard G (sorry- that's not even from this episode, but- it was fairly recent). But hey, don't sweat it- it wasn't nearly as bad as the "Japanese" cop's pronunciation in the last Heroes (oh crap- now there's a new one- I'm behind on that too!), not to mention, say, Bennet's. Or Uma Thurman's in Kill Bill. O-Ren Ishi-i?? But anyway- considering the way most people pronounce saké, kamikaze, & karaoke (I know! I didn't know that was a Japanese word either 'til I got here!), it's no biggie. So now you know. ..And knowing is half the battle! OK, I'll stop rambling now. Really. >_
