People are gonna be haters. And on the flip side, didn't everyone LOVE Garnett when he was losing in Minnesota? Now he wins and everybody hates the guy. Ain't because of what he looks like either. People love to hate. And everybody hates A-Rod. People thought he was awesome in Seattle (Wow look at this talent, he's so young and gifted, isn't he great??), then he got paid and you saw what a complete douche he was. Now everybody hates him. Not because he's rich or one of the best at baseball but because he's a flaming asswipe--like LeBrick.

This is a blow. Although Jermaine's been awesome and exactly what is needed, you simply can't count on him. There's not a chance in hell he's going to be able to play until June. I don't care how careful you are with his minutes and what not, those knees aren't holding up through multiple playoff series' into June. And i'm the voice of Cs optimism. As in hopefully Nads can become a household name when his number inevitably gets called.

If everyone knows it's a bad call to the point it necessitates a 'make up call', inluding the Ref who knows he made a bad call, why not swallow your pride and reverse the call? If it's so bad your going to warrant a make up call, just reverse the original call. Problem is ego and refs can never admit they were wrong. So instead of reversing one bad call, you make two lousy calls. It's retarded. NBA Refs are the worst. Fire them all and hire High School refs... Call the game like it is. No superstar or rookie treatment. No balancing fouls for a box score. No make up calls. Just call it how it's supposed to be called.

this had the Delonte bounce pass to Green for the Dunk. That was the best sequence of the game; Celtics basketball on display at both ends of the floor: Pierce strongly contested Melo's jumper, Rondo tips the rebound to a streaking DeLonte who finds JGreen with a silly bounce pass in traffic for the Dunk. Love me some Cetlics Basketball.

Good blog and comparison Red. i couldn't help but think of Tiger busting onto the scene and the media was appalled at his "arrogance" when he said he wants to win every tournament he's in. They thought he was cocky and brash but he doesn't play to place. LeBron needs some Herm Edwards in his face...

Make-up Calls are part of the problem with NBA Officiating. On the surface, it seems fair, kind of an eye-for-an-eye justice system but when you're watching and the whistle blows at a clear non-foul, it's incredibly irritating and makes the league look like a joke. Just call it like it is. No Superstar Fouls/treatement. No doling out questionable fouls to the bench guys instead of starters. No make-up calls. No balancing out the fouls so it looks "even" in a box score. Call it like it is.

Well that's about as poor as Rondo's going to play w/ 8 turnovers and 8assts and the team still shot 52% from the field. They haven't skipped a beat post trade. It'll be nice to see Delonte or Arroyo run the point to spell Rondo. Bradley looks like he's in over his head. Big fan of the nickname Nads. Simple and good.

NBA Welfare: Refs doling out warrantless technical fouls against the Cs to give opponents a fighting chance. It's like handicapping horses adding weight to the saddle. Ref should get fined for that terrible call.

Murph Man has been a pretty underrated player. A lot like Mehmet Okur...the guy's big, goofy and white so from a distance he looks like a stiff but if healthy, Murph man can most definitely contribute to this team. Guy can shoot and clean the glass. No idea what to expect from him on D though.

The Krane

what a flop. It looks bad in super slo-mo but in real time, Pietrus flops like flounder out of water.

yeah he can hit some but he's borderline 70% and that's with no pressure. Inexcusable for a guy with his skillset, work ethic and approach to the game. And it's his ONLY weakness. What else you gonna rag on?

Still can't hit a free throw. Implement the hack-a-lebron gameplan and this is the year he blows it at the line.
