I don't own a car, but my wife does. It's a 2008 Subaru WRX 5 door. That means it has a hatch back and the back seats fold forward. What a great car! We can go fast and still haul horse feed home. This car does everything. A little bit more than your $20K limit, but not by much.

Rented a new Toyota Sienna minivan this summer to haul some of my adult sons around here in FL. Been 20 years since I drove a minivan, the last one being a Ford Aerostar. I was very impressed with the handling, power, and amenities offered in the new minivans. Nice.
