My goodness, I'm amazed to see Finn's long legs-- a toddler no more! Hope you have a great time camping and hiking.

You mean that activity wasn't about sorting soapy water from unsoapy? Hmm... funny where the conscious absorbent mind leads us. Hope you are enjoying spring!

Love all the photos of your sweet fellas, but especially the last two goofy shots of Patrick! His sense of humor rocks. Reading your post, I am reminded of how thankful I remain that my partner is so fully up to the tasks of life together. He embraces family life in good times and bad, for which I am thankful. As we are settling into our new place though, I also realize that my relationship with him and the kids is not enough to fill me up. Perhaps it's that my kids are off at school much of the day, but I am really missing my days teaching and the time I spent with other little children. Wondering, Meg,if you ever long for your teaching days in Mexico...

I would love to know about what you did to transform the floor. It looks great, clean and easy to maintain, as opposed to before. Thanks!

What an amazing looking garden! Cannot wait to see your visions and revisions as it becomes your home. You always incorporate such lovely elements for creative exploration for the entire family-- I am eager to see what you do with 3 whole acres. Somehow I have a feeling chickens are going to be in the near future. Congratulations!!!

Been thinking about you all weekend! Great weather for Lachlan to make his way into the world, eh? Sounds like you managed to knock out your to-do list and are feeling ready. Hope everything goes smoothly and that you don't have to wait too long to hold the little guy in your arms. Big hugs from all of us over here! The new family photos rock.

So glad your polite advocacy is being met with a willingness by the hospital staff to listen and make some changes to the way things are most often done! Hoping for an easy passage into the outside world for you and Lachlan! Sending hugs!

Happy travels to the McElwees-- one and all! Hope the time in Philadelphia helps you come to clarity-- boy, would it be great to stay home in Durham, though. Glad to hear you have good choices on both ends. Happy knitting-- hope you get lots of legs up resting time. Hugs to boys!

Meg, do you have ornaments all the way down? Any suggestions for keeping kitties from wreaking havoc with the bottom of a perfect tree? hugs, Margaret

Finn with his backpack-- about the cutest thing I have seen so far this month-- and that is really saying something. An empty water bottle you could fill once pass security might be a good addition. Please tell Patrick there is room at our Thanksgiving table for him, if he wants a little break from work around 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Hugs and easy air to you and Finn; Happy Thanksgiving!

The magnets look great. Have a good time at Quilt Market-- maybe it will be cooler in Texas-- who knows?-- hopefully profitable either way! We will save you some peanut butter cups for when you get back. Does Patrick have any special requests from the candy stash?

Sarah Ellen says, "Go Finn go; there's no stopping now!" Banks says, "Dear Finn, Happy Birthday! So glad you're walking now." No doubt you and Patrick are finding a joyful way to celebrate this milestone. Can't wait to see the posts. Big hugs and our best wishes for perfect beach weather!
