Hello there! Long time no see, uh? January is a busy month around here, but I hope I'll soon be back on track with my blogging. Today I'm on the Waffle Flower Crafts blog with a Five for Friday post about... bubbles! They are so fun, cute and shiny! I'm also sharing a card there and I thought I could show you a more in detail look here. The Waffle Flower January release took a bit more than expected to arrive to my little corner of the world, so I was itching to ink up all than fantastic stamps! No... Continue reading

Hello everyone! Today I am participating in the Season's Givings blog hop, and I'd like to send a big thank you to Latisha Yoast for the awesome job she has done putting this huge hop together. Keeping this post short and sweet because it's a pretty long blog hop! I'd just like to take a moment to say thank you to each and every one of you who has visited and/or left a kind comment on my blog during the last year. It means a lot. And also a warm hello to all the new visitors! Here's to an awesome... Continue reading

Hi there! Just one more day until we wave goodbye to 2014 and welcome a new year, so I thought a 2015 calendar would be a perfect way to wrap up my Waffle Flower posts for this year! I started by die cutting 12 tags from Surface - Tag Die - Starter Kit. Calendars are something that get pulled out a lot, so I used the sturdiest cardstock I had to make sure the tags don't worn out too fast. Once I had the base tags, I went to town stamping! The months and calendar numbers come from Calendar stamp... Continue reading

Hi everyone! Christmas will be here in just a week, friends! Eek! Do you have all the shopping and gift wrapping done? Well, in case you still have some little gifts to pack, I have a couple of wrapping ideas for you using Waffle Flower Crafts stamps and dies. The fist one is a very merry pillow box. It can fit jewelry or a gift card, for example. I die cut the box from patterned paper with the Silhouette Cameo and then went to town decorating it. I started with a white cardstock strip where I stamped a sentiment from... Continue reading

You should have arrived here from the blog of the talented Julia Stainton. If you got lost in the way, you can head to the beginning of the hop at Jennifer's blog. Hello crafty friends! Oh, how I wish I weren't writing this post. This farewell post. I've gone through many different stages in my mourning: from disbelief, to denial, to a deep sadness, to rage, just to name a few. Paper Crafts Mag changed my life in many ways, and once their doors close for good, my life will change again, but most important, the lifes of an amazing... Continue reading

And I'm back! Hello friends! Live got busy around here and I haven't been able to stamp a lot lately. I missed it badly! But yesterday I finally carved some time to play with my Waffle Flower Crafts goodies and today I have a couple of ideas to share. When I get a stamp set, I tend to skip the obvious, biggest show-stealer images and "explore" the set to find the smaller companion images. There are always some hidden gems in there! That's the case with the small Christmas ornament you can find in Holiday Labels - Merry stamp set.... Continue reading

Hi everyone! Hope your week is going great so far. Today I have two ideas to share with Waffle Flower Crafts and both show unconventional uses for the Calendar stamp set. You can make lots of things with this set besides of calendars! In this card, I played with sentiments from Bowtiful and Bowtiful Additions stamp sets, and the tiny stars and "remember" come from Planner: Stay Focused stamp set. I started stamping the calendar base and colored it with copics. Then, I used post it notes to mask the center of the calendar and blended distress inks. Once I... Continue reading

Hello, friends! Today I have a card for the Tree-mendous Trees challenge at the Moxie Fab World. As many of you know, this week Paper Crafts Magazine is closing it's doors. I'm still speechless and pretty much trying to digest the news. I'll write a post about this in the future, but for now it's still painful to do it. Also, I've never been one to cry the death of something that is still alive. So here I am, playing at the MFW as long as we still can do it. I used this geometrical set and a sentiment from... Ooooops! I almost forgot to share a couple more things I made based on the Holiday Card Workshop at Online Card Classes. So without further ado here's one of them. This is homework for Day 5 and is based on a tag-gift card holder by Kristina Werner. I used the same measures and overall design she gave in class, but I changed a few things. I made the sentiment the star of the show and used a few die cut stars as embellishment. I also covered the whole front with patterned paper. This class has helped me dehoard some of... Hi friends! Here I am with my homework for the Bonus Day we got last Saturday on the Holiday Card Workshop at Online Card Classes. Tle classes were about coloring, something I'm not very good at. But I did my best :) This card is inspired by the amazing lesson from Kathy Racoosin. There's nothing that lady can't do with a marker and a white gel pen. Nothing. I used a Hero Arts poinsettia and chose an unconventional color for it: shades of teal, one of my favorite colors. And well, I followed Kathy's instructions when coloring it with markers,... Good morning! Hope your weekend is off to a great start! Popping in quickly to share card two for Day 4 of the Holiday Card Workshop at Online Card Classes. I can't believe that for once I am more or less keeping with the pace! This card was inspired in the techniques shared by the delightful Laura Bassen. I had this little houses die from Memory Box and I thought they would be perfect for this technique. First, I masked and inked the background. Then, I die cut the houses from acetate to make my own stencil. I used the... Continue reading

Hello there! And no, the title of this post is not wrong. I've jumped from Day 2 to Day 4 because my Day 3 watercolored cards are still on the making. So today I have three cards to share from Day 4 of he Holiday Card Workshop at Online Card Classes. This time it's all about one layer cards. My first one is based on Jennifer's lesson, a window card with partial die cutting. I went for a circle window where I fitted the lovely bow from Loved stamp set by Waffle Flower Crafts. I used the bow coordinating die.... Continue reading

Aaaand, here I am again! This makes my second card for Day 2 of the Holiday Card Workshop at Online Card Classes. You can check the first card here. This one was inspired by Chari Moss, who in yesterday's class showed how to create an adorable shaker card scene. I'm terrible for creating those super cute landscapes full of critters, but I managed to make a shaker card with two cutie birds, ha! I used the Bannerific set from Lawn Fawn. Such a classic! I think it's one of the first Lawn Fawn sets I owned. The sentiment is from... Continue reading

Hey there! As promised, I'm back with my homework for Day 2 of the Holiday Card Workshop at Online Card Classes. Yesterday's lesson was about interactive Christmas cards, and I made two different cards: one inspired by Jennifer with a removable ornament and another one inspired by Chari's shaker card. In this post I'm sharing the first card. I switched the circle ornament for a star shaped one, and instead of using holly I went for a bokeh inspired background stamped over a Hero Arts starry background. The first time I stamped the dots, the starry background previously stamped with... Continue reading

And hello again! As promised, I'm back with a second card as my homework for the Holiday Card Shop at Online Card Classes. You can check my first card for today here. This one was inspired by Debby Hughes. Gosh, everything she makes is so perfect and dreamy!!! Not to mention the amazing photographs she takes. I highly recomment visiting her blog, inspiration abounds! Ok, this is what I came up with: Debby's video and card inspired me in the following ways: layout, a half gold embossed tag, die cut sentiment accross, ornament to the left. I die cut my... Hello friends! This year I couldn't resist registering for the Holiday Card Shop at Online Card Classes. I've immensely enjoyed all the OCC classes I've taken, but I've missed lots of them because I hadn't time to catch up. I know you have forever access and you can see the lesson videos at your own pace, but for me it's not the same that way. I love to follow along, see the videos the day they're posted and share my homework while the class is still going on. This week I knew I'd be able to do tgat, so here... Continue reading

Ho Ho Ho, friends! Uh, ok, I mean hello friends! How come Halloween is tomorrow but I'm already in Merry and Bright spirits? I guess having the loveliest Christmas stamps to play with has something to do with it ;) Waffle Flower Crafts is to blame! Today I bring you a Christmas shaker card that I'm totally in love with! I used Holiday Labels: Merry stamp set, Flower Circles die set and the Tiny Star die. Patterned paper is Basic Gray, from last year's Christmas collection I think. I started covering the card front with patterned paper. Second came the... Continue reading

Hello friends! Have you checked the latest Runway Inspired Challenge? It's been a while since I last played along in a challenge, but I couldn't let this one pass by. Look at the absolutely striking inspiration outfit! I was inspired by the colors (no surprise here) and the vertical simetry. I started with a white oanel where I heat embossed a triangle pattern in white and then filled with smaller triangles in red and black. Next, I stamped the big Awesome (Altenew), traced two lines with pencil and cut with a craft knive, leaving the two sides of the panel... Continue reading

Well, hello there! Today I bring you a couple ideas for the upcoming Thanksgiving using stamps and dies from the new Waffle Flower Crafts Fall release. As you already know, I love bright bold colors, but lately fall-ish colors have been growing on me. A lot. And here's proof: My first project is a card with Holiday Labels: Give Thanks stamp set. I started adhering some burlap patterned paper to the card base. It looks super realistic! Next, I stamped the sentiment (minus the little flowers on top), leaves, flower/acorn cap and stem on a cardstock panel and trimmed it... Continue reading

Hello friends! Last Summer I had the absolute pleasure of meeting the "Boston Jens", Jennifer Rzasa and Jingle! Am I lucky or what? On that meeting, obviously, stamps happened. And today I get to share some card designs on the Altenew blog. Here's a little sneak. I have a grand total of three projects to share there, so I hope you'll stop by and leave some love :) Happy Friday! Continue reading
