Hi everyone! By now, it's clear that one of the big hits of the last Waffle Flower Craft release have been the absolutely gorgeous doily dies: the square and the circle. They've quickly become a favorite, right? So I thought I would share and idea to get even more mileage from the doily circle die. I made some industrial engineering inlaid die cutting using the inner portion of the doily. To do this, I first die cut the doily from white cardstock, and carefully trimmed the outer parts. Second, I die cut the doily again from different cardstock colors and... Continue reading

Hi friends! The April release from Waffle Flower Crafts finally made it's way to me and I couldn't wait to share some ideas with you! One of the big surprises in this release are the new inks. They are amazing, and here's a card to prove it... I used the solid daisies from A Bunch stamp set to stamp a whole background using a few different colors from the Spring Blend and Summer Blend inkpads. The colors I used are 1, 3, 9, 10, 13, 14 and 16. The whole background came together super fast! I love stamping my own... Continue reading

Hi there! Today I'm at the Waffle Flower Crafts Blog sharing my love for list making. I made a card using On My Mark and Pattern Play stamp sets. Here's a peek: And I thought I could share here how to adapt the biggest frame from Surface - Tag die - Scallop Add on to any size you need. I'm sorry about the low quality pics, we've had the most horrible weather here so I had to use flash. Ok, first we need to die cut a frame. Next, we will cut the frame in two pieces. Depending on how... Continue reading

Hi friends! Today I have two different color cards inspired by the same color combo. I used some colors that immediately grabbed my attention when Nina posted them for the Waffle Flower Crafts Challenge some weeks ago. That challenge is now over, but there's another one going on with a very interesting inspiration image too! Here are the colors I used. I can't pass a cheery and bright one like this, even if I'm totally late to the party! For the first card I incorporated the color combination by using the ink blending technique. I started by masking a rectangle... Continue reading

Happy Thursday! Well, so I've finally carved some time to sit down and play with the new My Favorite Things Card Challenges! My dear friend Susan Opel is the Creative Ambassador (isn't that a cool title?) and hostess with the mostess over there. I was beyond excited when after Paper Crafts Mag closed it's doors, Susan announced this new position because frankly, I just can't imagine this paper crafting industry without her. So here's to many more years of creativity! Oh, and the Challenge DT has some serious talent in there. Just check it! Ok, on to the card. I... Continue reading

Hello, friends! How is your week going? Hang in there, just one more day for the weekend!!! In the mean, I have two cards for you showing some ideas with Pattern Play stamp set. This is one of my favorite sets from the Waffle Flower Crafts January release. It's terribly versatile! All the different borders can be mixed and matched. You could stamp them overlapped, build a plaid pattern, stripes, polka dots... Lots of possibilities, really. Today I'm sharing two simple ideas that still create a lot of impact. First, the solid stripes border. This one has two long stripes... Continue reading

Hello there! Long time no see, uh? January is a busy month around here, but I hope I'll soon be back on track with my blogging. Today I'm on the Waffle Flower Crafts blog with a Five for Friday post about... bubbles! They are so fun, cute and shiny! I'm also sharing a card there and I thought I could show you a more in detail look here. The Waffle Flower January release took a bit more than expected to arrive to my little corner of the world, so I was itching to ink up all than fantastic stamps! No... Continue reading

Hello everyone! Today I am participating in the Season's Givings blog hop, and I'd like to send a big thank you to Latisha Yoast for the awesome job she has done putting this huge hop together. Hi there! Just one more day until we wave goodbye to 2014 and welcome a new year, so I thought a 2015 calendar would be a perfect way to wrap up my Waffle Flower posts for this year! I started by die cutting 12 tags from Surface - Tag Die - Starter Kit. Calendars are something that get pulled out a lot, so I used the sturdiest cardstock I had to make sure the tags don't worn out too fast. Once I had the base tags, I went to town stamping! The months and calendar numbers come from Calendar stamp... Continue reading

Hi everyone! Christmas will be here in just a week, friends! Eek! Do you have all the shopping and gift wrapping done? Well, in case you still have some little gifts to pack, I have a couple of wrapping ideas for you using Waffle Flower Crafts stamps and dies. The fist one is a very merry pillow box. It can fit jewelry or a gift card, for example. I die cut the box from patterned paper with the Silhouette Cameo and then went to town decorating it. I started with a white cardstock strip where I stamped a sentiment from... Continue reading

Adore this bright and happy card, Cheiron! Perfect for lifting spirits!
You should have arrived here from the blog of the talented Julia Stainton. If you got lost in the way, you can head to the beginning of the hop at Jennifer's blog. Hello crafty friends! Oh, how I wish I weren't writing this post. This farewell post. I've gone through many different stages in my mourning: from disbelief, to denial, to a deep sadness, to rage, just to name a few. Paper Crafts Mag changed my life in many ways, and once their doors close for good, my life will change again, but most important, the lifes of an amazing... Continue reading

And I'm back! Hello friends! Live got busy around here and I haven't been able to stamp a lot lately. I missed it badly! But yesterday I finally carved some time to play with my Waffle Flower Crafts goodies and today I have a couple of ideas to share. When I get a stamp set, I tend to skip the obvious, biggest show-stealer images and "explore" the set to find the smaller companion images. There are always some hidden gems in there! That's the case with the small Christmas ornament you can find in Holiday Labels - Merry stamp set.... Continue reading

Hi everyone! Hope your week is going great so far. Today I have two ideas to share with Waffle Flower Crafts and both show unconventional uses for the Calendar stamp set. You can make lots of things with this set besides of calendars! In this card, I played with sentiments from Bowtiful and Bowtiful Additions stamp sets, and the tiny stars and "remember" come from Planner: Stay Focused stamp set. I started stamping the calendar base and colored it with copics. Then, I used post it notes to mask the center of the calendar and blended distress inks. Once I... Continue reading

Hello, friends! Today I have a card for the Tree-mendous Trees challenge at the Moxie Fab World. As many of you know, this week Paper Crafts Magazine is closing it's doors. I'm still speechless and pretty much trying to digest the news. I'll write a post about this in the future, but for now it's still painful to do it. Also, I've never been one to cry the death of something that is still alive. So here I am, playing at the MFW as long as we still can do it. I used this geometrical set and a sentiment from... Ooooops! I almost forgot to share a couple more things I made based on the Holiday Card Workshop at Online Card Classes. So without further ado here's one of them. This is homework for Day 5 and is based on a tag-gift card holder by Kristina Werner. I used the same measures and overall design she gave in class, but I changed a few things. I made the sentiment the star of the show and used a few die cut stars as embellishment. I also covered the whole front with patterned paper. This class has helped me dehoard some of...
